Did you ever think about if there is a difference between feelings and emotions? Feeling here is meant as a mental note as a physical perception. Feelings like emotions are affecting our actions in the end. Both are expressions from within.
Feelings occur from our deep convictions and beliefs. Feelings are enduring.
Emotions are caused by happenings, surprises, and strokes of fate – no matter whether positive or negative. They come and go. They are not enduring.
I recall the metaphor of my carpet of happiness. The carpet is the feeling we are walking on. At times something flies by. We jump and grab it (an emotion) but in the end, we land on our carpet again.
I experienced the difference clearly when my father died. I was sad, I was paralyzed at times, and often completely overwhelmed. Most of all because I felt a heavy responsibility for my mother and how to handle my father’s company. But although my grief was deep I never fell under a certain level. When it reached the limit line I felt something burning the sadness before I got lost. It simply swallowed it and gave me the power to laugh. I did not identify with the sadness because I knew it was a temporary emotion but not defining my life. I did not lose the blessings out of sight which unfolded in other places like being together with all the family for a long time, feeling how strong we all stuck together, getting so much love, help, and support from outside, and feeling a certain strength in me I did not know before which made me develop a new kind of self-esteem. Happiness was the feeling and sadness was the emotion. But walking on my carpet my feelings were stronger and kept me on base.
What’s the point now? In order to not lose ground we need a carpet of bracing feelings like happiness, self-love, tolerance, and faith. Feelings like emotions are caused by thoughts in the first place. Therefore we need to bring our thoughts in alignment with supporting feelings.
Make your thoughts fit the result you want.
Make your thoughts fit the feelings you want.
Make your thoughts fit the person you want to be.
The phenomenon is that as soon as you choose thoughts that support yourself you feel good, strong, awake, inventive, and alive. And why?
Because who you are is positive energy!
Who you are is perfect health!
Who you are is an inexhaustible source of love, compassion, abundance, and unlimited possibilities!
In matching your thoughts with the core of your being your core becomes your being! This is the miracle of healing, success, and simplicity of a fulfilled life.
There still will be happenings around you that make you feel something that is not in alignment with your being. But once you experienced this pure alignment your thoughts follow and your belief system is going to be updated. Bad emotions can inspire but not harm it any more. Good emotions will even feed it since they too are a match with who you really are.
Make it fitting!
In Love and Light!

P.S. OMG this post will fit to my post today in few minutes! I would like to say that feeling is the result of inner needs that are either responded or not responded. That is why we should not throw the responsibility on our feelings to others. 😉

Isn’t that cool? I guess that is the second time we have similarities in our posts or like in this case we complement them. So funny!

I believe in the laws of attraction. People who have the similar interests and thought will meet each other anyway. 😉 cool indeed

Your reply is the proof of the Law of Attraction because I believe the same. It simply is a law and works permanently. I love the effect of it here on WordPress!!!

Emotions are, of course, a part of our psyche, yet nevertheless, can be distinguished from the remainder of mental qualities because they most directly influence our physical body.
They affect the way our body functions and they drive every single one of our actions. Without emotion, we would have no reason to act, to do anything with ourselves.
Emotions are our greatest motivators. Unfortunately, they can motivate us to act in any direction, even the wrong one. For this reason, emotional strength is essential. There are countless situations that emotionally strong people avoid and many actions they never take

Exactly! Emotions are more a reflex that can affect our mood and also body in an instant and move it into different directions. They are definitely important. When we have built up a carpet of strong supportive feelings emotions cannot influence too long in a destructive way. But the positive ones can feed the feelings and strengthen the base.
