Everybody has dreams. There is no one who doesn’t dream about anything. May it be a different way of living, a different job, a new car, a vacation, an achievement, a project, an education, the love of a lifetime, or different neighbors (LOL)… there is so much we can dream of.
Dreams are the engine to keep us in motion, have a goal in life, to keep us motivated and excited. Once we have realized a dream we feel like 1000 Watts. From that point on new dreams arise. Some dreams we take along from early childhood on and they don’t leave us over all those years. It is like a flame that is nurtured when we encounter certain situations, see pictures of places, or read books about stories that relate to our dreams. Why do we get these reminders? I believe – no, I am convinced – that when a dream shows up in our life, it shows up for a reason.
We all have different dreams. Even if we seem to have the same dream it differs in detail according to our unique being. So when a certain dream, a wish, a longing, or a picture shows up again and again and we feel connected to it with our heart then it is a reminder. A reminder our soul sends out that there is something waiting for us in our life. That there is something meant for us in our life. That there is something special to be unfolded in our own unique way. That there is a blessing we wished to experience in our life.
The remainder always shows up when it is time to take the next step. We are mostly not aware of it. But when the time has come to take that next step then we get some inputs from outside – like I mentioned before. That triggers something in any way. Even if we try to deny it we make a step toward that dream. Because whatever step we might make prepares us for the unfolding – this or that way.
People who listen to those reminders, who follow the signposts, who keep the fire burning, and who go for it are those who make the seemingly impossible possible. Who had ever thought it was possible to jump from a height of 127,852 feet down toward the earth and survive. Felix Baumgartner did and made it. We can call it crazy or not. But he believed in it and he made it come true. A dream is not a chimera. They are visions of personal and collective development. Look at people like Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela, or take Steve Jobs, Thomas A. Edison, and all of the people who believed in something for what they were called crazy. As history shows, nobody could stop them in the end. What these people were able to do, everybody is able to do. They were not smarter, or privileged. They only had faith and strong belief and conviction in their vision. They did not doubt their visions. They saw it clearly and took one step at a time toward it. Their dreams were like reality not yet visible.
When you have a dream then take it seriously. Don’t wipe it away. You don’t need to hang in right away, but don’t wipe it away. Be aware that this dream might be the purpose or even the main reason you came into this life. It can be your fate or the journey toward your fate. But for sure they don’t show up accidentally. Hang with it, dream it again and again and believe that it is a not yet manifested reality. What you can think or what you can dream, you can be! Every invention, every unfolding, and every manifestation starts with a dream. And when you least expect it they can show their first signs of development. Be aware!
While writing this post I remembered a beautiful song from a movie.
Dreams are my reality,
the only kind of real fantasy
Illusions are a common thing
I try to live in dreams
It seems as if it’s meant to be
In Love and Light
