It is clear to me that being serious is important to stay focused on your target and not lose concentration most of all in difficult situations. But it has also become clear to me for many years that this can be exhausting and draw all your energy from you when it lasts too long. Most of all when it is not about temporary situations but for a period of difficult times.
Giving room to your silliness doesn’t mean that you don’t take circumstances seriously. It means that you are opening an outlet to let go of the pressure some situations can cause It means to take a break from the “task” or challenge for some moments. When you keep your humor and see the irony in situations you stop being the problem. When you are laughing you relax the muscles in your whole body and what is important is: When you are laughing you are also breathing deeply and filling your whole system with oxygen and therefore energy! It is like an energy shot. My boss and I can really tell stories about hectic and stressful times since we experience them for quite a while. But we never lost our silliness and made fun of the situation. We are laughing at ourselves and really can be so silly. Most of all now that I am in charge of so much more since my colleague won’t be coming back to work anymore and we don’t have something new yet, it is a task at times regarding stepping into fields I have never been in before and learning quickly how to deal with them. But when you still can laugh about it, you are like a ventilation system. The pressure and stress get blown out and fresh air clears the cells.
It is also one of the tactics of not running the risk of becoming burned out or depressive through some happenings in life or some temporary situations. Keeping your humor means keeping your head above it. I don’t mean to ignore how things are but to see them from a distance in order to have the power to deal with them. Don’t forget that you are not what you are dealing with. You are not your problem. You are what makes you feel well. Because feeling well is your natural state of being. That’s why all things that make you feel good are empowering and all things that make you feel bad are exhausting.
We have to deal with difficult situations throughout our lives. Some can lead us to our limits. But they are there to make us develop because every task asks for something more or something new we need to activate within us. It is not something we need to invent. No, it is already there but was asleep until the moment arrived to wake it up. All we need for this lifetime is already within us. Therefore we need to connect with the being within that body by raising our energy frequency for making them match. The fastest way and most effective tool is feeling good.
Being silly is not silly at all! It refreshes your body, clears your mind, detaches from who you are not, and that way keeps you healthy and empowers you to face your daily tasks!

uninhibited silliness is a tonic for the soul – and for the body! a few nights ago i followed a click to see why women lived longer than men… remember – i live in a very remote area and rarely interact with what’s trendy or modern.. basic internet.. no television for almost 20 years, etc…. so naive me thought this would be about choices about food, diet, attitudes… and instead there was a video of random clips of men taking extreme chances while working/at play, etc.. and i was laughing so hard that surely everyone in the hostal heard me!

Hehe… One thing I would like to do is when I shop is to put random things in people’s trolleys, I heard about it once and I can’t help think it must be a hoot!

I thought I might. Its slipping someone older a condom or someone younger something for an older person makes me chuckle.
I like your one about running into somewhere and asking what year it is. Want to dress up mad scientist and crazy and do that. With smoke coming off me and burnt face and clothes. Lol

Incontinence diapers for a twen 😂 Or Viagra (just letting my fantasy fly… lol) Haha, and I love that Doc Brown version 😂😂 We should keep that in mind for next year’s Blogger Bash 😂😂

I had exactly the same vision for doc brown. Just thinking and this is going a bit too silly here is find a young (ish) girl and slip in a pregnancy test kit… is that too far?

Eeeeehhh… perhaps a bit! Better drop a condom… lol! I may say that because my daughter shocked me (innocent!) with it… lol!

Ok – I might stop before that one lol
The other thing you could do is kind of buy a few things that would raise eyebrows and leave them around for the kids to find and see what it does to them… lol

Hehe… right! Also, it is interesting what the parents say when the kids ask questions…. lol! Now, I think we are becoming a bit mean … lol!!!

We are a bit… but it’s all in good humour and it doesn’t need to be anything too bad. I’m not evil… much hehe 🙂

You have to be able to poke fun at life or else you’ll be walking around with a dark cloud over your head all the time.

Yes, exactly! We need to poke that cloud and sometimes need to pop it in order to start dancing in the rain!
