The Visitor

Sitting lonely in my room
Looking out the window
Staring at the darkening sky
Not knowing where to go to

Pondering ‘bout shattered dreams
Of feeling such a pain
Of never gotten any chance
To finally win my game

While I am weeping, suddenly
I hear a silent voice
It speaks to me so tenderly
Through all the disturbing noise

It makes me pause in order to
Hear it a little clearer
And when I look up I can see
A light, that’s coming nearer

I almost feel like hypnotized
But in a loving way
I realize that voice and light
Are connected through a ray

The light, it said: “Don’t be afraid
You only did not see
That what you cry for heavily
Worked out quite perfectly

Although you wished it differently
The outcome of that story
The blessing was a different one
You can’t see in your worry

Just take your time and let it flow
The sadness and the pain
The tears will help to rinse your soul
In order to feel clear again

It will need time but once you can
Step back from expectations
Then you let go and open up
Then you’re prepared for revelation

The insight of the higher context
One day you’ll understand
Until you’re ready feel my love
And take my healing hand

For now please know that nothing is
Working against your being
You’re deeply loved and always guided
When even you can’t see it

There is a force that holds its hand
Above your precious soul
It’s there whenever you are sad
You’ll never be alone

I am the voice, I am the light
Caress you in your desperation
Keep your eyes on me and you’ll find
The path of your salvation

You see my light and hear my voice
Be sure, I’ll never part
‘Cause what you see and hear is just
A reflection of your heart.”

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

Oh, Erika, this is truly Blessed! These words are perfect. Beautifully written and so effective on how they touched me. Just last week a terrible storm lashed its fury upon me, yet in that storm, tears erupted, pain released and expressed and a very old wound given validation at long last. So, in every situation, there really is a Higher Plan, if only we could see. Thank you for this confirmation in my Life!!! ❤

Wow, Amy, your words have given me shivers. Amazing how that just fits. And I thank you for the confirmation as well. It is a wonderful moment when we can let go of the burden or pain and feel ourselves again much stronger than before.
Thank you so much for sharing that, Amy! I am glady you found relief.

As I told my sister, healing sometimes is exhausting. The emotions I expressed, the depth of my sobbing and ragged crying, the screaming, the pain revisited for hours, all left me limp as a rag doll afterwards, yet deep within my spirit, a huge shift occurred, one that is allowing LIGHT to enter where there had been a huge abscess. Erika, I was NEVER allowed to express my true feelings as a child, especially anger, so all those years of stuffing and stuffing came out. The relief, the utter relief that I finally expressed that pain of an abused child is beyond comprehension. And it took a very difficult situation whereupon I broke to get those emotions up to the surface and to the Light. All is GOOD, my friend. All is GOOD!!!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Never showing anger or sadness…. that is buried deep down (been there too) What has been there for so long needs its time. But once it comes up…. wow! Yes, it is exhausting and the recovery we need brings that light and power up. I so hear you also in experiencing a completely different situation which brings that old pain up. In working it out we see the relation to where it is rooted. It bears so many profound insights! Yes, it is all good indeed 😊

It`s such a nice poem. You are so right. It is so sad that we often forget this truth and that we, therefore, damage our souls. Thank you for reminding us.
