Mucking Out

Hi, friends. For quite a while, I have been watching the number that shows the already used GB. The distance until I reached my limit already got pretty narrow. So, I had the choice between upgrading or limiting my media library. I decided to go for the second option, although it was the one that was pretty time-consuming.

Jagged Feathers – @jansikes3 #NewRelease #RomanticSuspense #WhiteRuneSeries

Instead of my usual Monday post, I decided to leave this spot to Jan today for introducing her latest book Jagged Feathers. Jan and I have been following each other for quite some time. I became aware of her blog through a friend who reblogged her tarot readings each week. Meanwhile, I don’t want to miss her and her inspirations like meditations, readings, presentations of healing stones, and lots more but also because she is an incredible and lovely person. The more I feel honored to welcome her on my blog today. So grab a cup of tea, hot chocolate, or coffee. I pass the scepter to Jan. Dear sister, my blog is all yours…

Time to Say Thank You 🙏

A week ago, I posted a Review Request For “I’m Free” asked those of you who had read my book, to leave a review on Amazon. A big thank you to all of you who have followed my request. You are just great!

For those who haven’t had time yet, please click on the image above and you will be taken to my book page on amazon.com. I’d appreciate it very much. Every review counts!

A General Request

Hello friends. You know how much I love supporting the wonderful people in this blogosphere. That’s why I love sharing their inspiring words that come from interaction. As you may know, I don’t post any statements without the permission of the person who made them. So far, I have trusted that such permission also confirms that the words actually came from that person. In the past, bloggers have alerted me when that wasn’t the case. But this week, unfortunately, it did not work. It can get me in trouble, but also the person in question, if a quote is not properly acknowledged. From now on, I will also research every statement myself to be sure.

Meeting a Blogger Friend

View towards the Kurfirsten and Lake Walen in the background.

After almost four years, it was yesterday again that I met a blogger friend of WordPress. Erika and I (this is not a mistake, we both are Erikas) have been following each other for about five years. After a while, we found out that we live almost around the corner from each other. So, yesterday we made it happen. It took me only 25 minutes to reach Erika Laufer of Lauferei.com in her beautiful Swiss village close to Lake Walen.

oh, liectenstein reader, who art thou?

I had to reblog this one! Can you guess who Beth’s one follower from Liechtenstein is?

I didn't have my glasses on....

i have exactly one blog follower

in the micro country of liectenstein

with so many interesting things about this amazing tiny place

here are just a couple of examples:

in 1886 liectenstein had an army of 80 men who fought during the austro-prussian war

they suffered no injuries or deaths

and returned with 81 men because they made a new italian friend from the opposition army.

the army was disbanded soon after and they haven’t had an army since.

and then there was the accidental invasion which didn’t cause much of a stir:

i really love their approach to life

and i’m guessing my one reader is a pretty laid-back person

and with such a tiny country

perhaps a descendent of that new italian friend they brought back from the war?

here’s to liectenstien!

Back Soon!

Today is the last holiday of the past Christmas season (Epiphany). Traditionally, it is the last day of the school break, and many companies over here are closed until this day due to the many holidays and weekends between Christmas Eve and January 6th. It is also the day when many remove their Christmas decorations and Christmas trees.

Just fyi…

My vacation is over and since yesterday, I am back at work. As you could tell from my posts, I took a few trips. The rest of the time, I spent catching up and preparing as much as possible because I will be extremely busy in the coming 5 – 6 weeks. That is also the reason why I could only visit you rarely despite my holidays. Unfortunately, it will continue like that for the next time. There are losts of posts scheduled for this and next week. But after that please don’t be surprised if my posts appear irregularly or not at all. By mid-September, at the latest (I hope) everything will slowly return to normal.

#Happy Easter #Blessings #NewBook

What an Easter Surprise😃 Without making a big fuss about it, Sylvester published his 8th book today. As he says in his post, it is not just a new poetry book. It is rather a collection of inspirational thoughts about what a soul encounters during its journey down here. Sylvester put it in the form of quotes, texts, and poems too.
Curious? Well, I certainly am! That’s why my copy has already been ordered. And what about you?

Please head over to his blog for learning more about his book, how to order, the story behind, and last but not least, to congratulate him!

“If you speak from the heart and spirit, you will touch more than the ears, you will reach the soul.” -Syl

My writing journey has taken a lot of twists and turns. I am so very thankful to be blessed with the gift to write and create with words. I published my first poetry collection eight years ago which was a journey in itself, realizing a dream come true. Since then I have published several other collections.

Now I am thankful to present my latest book Soul Waves. This marks a change in my presentation style. There are poems, thoughts, and quotes sprinkled in. As my writing journey continues I become more aware of the purpose for my writing.

Thank you to all of you here in the WordPress community that have inspired me through your blogs, interactions, the smiles and laughs shared, an all the heartfelt comments.

GLOBAL MEDITATION – Saturday April 4th!

Will you join us? The more we are the stronger the energy and the effect. Let’s get together. Together, we’ll make it!

Writing and Music

Most of you who follow my blogs have seen me mention a Global Meditation that is to take place on April 4th and 5th, 2020.

I can tell you in my own words how I perceive the power of thousands of humans coming together at the same time with the same intention of raising the vibration of a planet that is in crisis, but what I want to do instead is share this link as I cannot say it any better than this.

Here is the link: http://www.globalpeacemeditation.com/

Please join in on the Global Meditation in whatever way it comfortable for you.

I will be lighting candles and incense and meditating at 9:45 PM CST on Saturday, April 4th.

We are all energy and we are all connected by an invisible thread, and together, we can banish this virus and help heal our beautiful planet! Thank you!

#MomentsOfJoy

I think all of us make good use of some distractions from the current #1 theme. Why not sharing something funny, uplifting or beautiful (at least) once a week. It can be a joke, a picture with a beautiful view from the area you live or a place you like a lot, a song, a video, a story or whatever comes to your mind. It only needs to be positive with only positive words. I picked Wednesday for me because it is my guest quote/community day anyway. Who would like to join in (on a Wednesday or any other day of the week)?

A White Rose for Erika and Her Sisters

There are no words to describe how deeply Robert’s act of kindness and thoughtfulness touched me. I forward and dedicate Robert’s wonderful lines with the meaningful symbol of that beautiful rose on top to everyone… Love and Light to all 💖

Art by Rob Goldstein

A few months ago Erika Kind mentioned
a picture I’d posted of a White Rose.

I posted the photo in honor of an anti-fascist
group that called itself the White Rose in 1942.

Erika told me she liked the rose so I said
I’d make another.

When I think of Erika Kind I also think of the
women who
follow her and call her sis.

I read their blogs and their commentsto each
other and I see love, and light, and respect.

They are professionals and mothers; they are
women with talent and skill.

They work to enrich our lives with art and
wisdom.

So, to Erika Kind and her Sisters,

Thank you and Happy Holidays!

Letting Go – Take 2

melancholy1

And here comes a new one poem for participating at Neha’s Calling all Creative Minds/Poets/Artists to a Poetic Collaboration – “Letting Go”

51.jpg

Letting Go

What happened once is long ago

Regrets and guilt won’t change it though

And all the wounds, well, quite a lot

From all the bullets others shot

I think it’s time to let them heal

And stop to make it a big deal

Too long I kept the past alive

And cut myself with its sharp knife

Too long I carried it along

And kept myself from moving on

I look above and see the sky

Was it ever so blue and high?

There’s so much room to just be me

I’m letting go and flying free

Letting Go – My Take

melancholy1

Yesterday I shared Neha’s new collaboration invitation:
Calling all Creative Minds/Poets/Artists to a Poetic Collaboration – “Letting Go”

When I saw the topic I thought immediately of an older post in which I shared a poem about Letting Go. Letting Go is not only releasing something that weighed heavily and kept you from living. The process itself is a progress in your own development and growth. It means you have already grown bigger than the suffocating cocoon. That’s why you are ready to break its shell. Letting Go is a process of becoming!  Read more ›

This is the day of the year again when we all reflect. We look back to where we were and where we are today, to the things we wanted to accomplish and perhaps didn’t but also to those achievements we did not expect to develop or happen one year ago. But however, this year was surely filled with so many aspects that make life life: ups and downs, insights, endings and beginnings, success and … less successful results. But whatever happened throughout the year, it all made us more complete. Our development progressed and we are further and wiser than ever before!  Read more ›

How a “Broken” Heart Can Make Me Happy!

20161130_091822

That may sound strange but I am talking about Carolina’s beautiful painting Broken from her InkTober 2016 collection. I ordered her artwork from day 9 and it is simply beautiful. But it is not only the painting itself which made me smile and warmed my heart. It is her way of creating a lovely energy around it. As you see it on the picture, she packed it surrounded with beautiful messages, an official certificate, a thoughtful card, and a lovely dedication on the backside of the painting. This is typically Carolina. Whatever she does, she does with all her heart and that is what we feel when we see any of her creations. If you don’t know her blog yet then please head over to YesterdayAfter.

Thank you so much for your lovely way and for your friendship, Carolina!

It Is Not The Religion – It Is The Interpretation!

god-has-no-religion

Some time ago, I shared a video of the Dalai Lama on Facebook. That video felt like a perfect follow-up to my post We Need To Heal The Cause – Not The Symptoms! The Dalai Lama talked about religions and terrorism. He stated what burns in all the hearts of faithful people. It is not the religion that makes terrorists. It is the fanatic idea of power that misuses religion for terroristic acts.

Dalai Lama: Religious violence: “Once you are involved in bloodshed you are no longer a genuine practitioner of Islam”. (This video is only 1 minute.)

All religions were created in order to spread the message of love. They have the use of keeping people grounded, teaching God’s (whatever God) words and reminding them that there is more in and about life than we might see with our physical eyes. Each religion may have its own rules and ways of  how to reach God’s realm which may or may not fit for the individual. But the bottom line is that we all are brothers and sisters. Each religion teaches about compassion and respect for every being. A true man of God even respects other religious ways and practices because their general goal is the well-being of the soul and not to force others into one particular religion. No, not religion creates terrorists! Men create terrorists! Don’t pre-judge any religion only because there are some who misunderstood the message. Those are found in every religion. Mostly those are – as I said it in my other post – the ones who feel isolated. Instead of finding hold and reconnect with their spirits they use it as a tool of power.

quote-mahatma-gandhi-the-essence-of-all-religions-is-one-41702_2

Over the centuries the name of God was abused to justify the oppression and dictation of races, other cultures, and other religions. It was abused to justify wars. The meaning of religion got lost – the path to God. God is love – only love. Love never kills but supports life. Love never oppresses but puts the other one first. Love never judges but respects and honors the difference everybody brings into this world. May it be Mohammed, Jesus, or others, they all talked about compassion. They never left anyone out. As Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” He did not mean little kids but the children of God that we are. He did not mean to convert them towards Christianity but to simply share God’s love which is all we need to feel the love within ourselves. When we feel the love within ourselves we are at peace with what is. That way we see that we all are one family. We see that we are coming from the same source and that differences are only in the outer appearance. Other than that we all bring something along that is for the benefit of everyone. Together we have all the abilities we need to make this life a complete experience, working hand in hand, sharing the gift of life, help each other to grow through our mutual inspiration, and spreading the nutrition of life – love!

45359fe026d87865f2385651e866f4e0

I am not considering myself as part of any religion (anymore). But that is not because I am against religion. It is because there are “truths” I simply cannot agree with (first and foremost I am talking here about Catholicism). Then again I find so many wonderful teachings and truths in so many religions. That again shows me that all religions are generating from one message and are leading to one goal – Love! I created my own religion from all I feel like a truth from many different religions. All those truths are complementing each other and the picture I create from it is making sense to me. I think what really matters is that we do believe at all in something. That life is more about than only struggling through this physical lifetime. Even if you don’t believe that there is a greater force of unlimited wisdom then at least believe in yourself. That is already enough. Because all you need to know lies within you anyway!

As long as the interpretation of what we believe in is love, nobody cares about religious differences anyway!

The Chain of Light

Last week I wrote about love as so much more than only a feeling. I was most inspired by the Charity point and my thoughts went with a particular aspect of that love that connects us and everything in a magical yet natural way. This connection has much more meaning than we might think and we often underestimate the advantage, the obligations, and the responsibility that comes with the decision of being part of this global community. It’s Friday! After a long break do to my absence I am back with another review. This a review of 3 weeks. I hope I don’t forget anything. As you know a lot happened in my life during the past 3 weeks and I couldn’t be any happier about it. But let’s get started!

The post with the most views is: A Two Weeks Review Of Gratitude And Blessings

The best that happened during the past weeks for sure was my trip to and through the States in general. I already posted some times about it and I don’t want to bother it with a repetition of the whole story. If you did not see it yet, here is my review on that:  A Two Weeks Review Of Gratitude And Blessings

Marissa Bergen posted in her own special Marissa-way about the meeting of her, Carolina, Corinne and I. Please read her poem  To Find Ms. Kind. You need to know that after our meeting I drove down from above Hollywood to Newport Beach. The highways lead right through Los Angeles and it was Friday at 5 pm. The best was to take a nap right on the highway because it turns out as the world’s largest parking lot! Instead of 1 hour 15 minutes, it took me almost 3 hours to get home. Now see what Marissa made of it!!! She is amazing!

When Carolina, Marissa,  Corinne and I met Carolina gifted all of us with a uniquely created jewelery. She picked each component she used related to the person she made it for. This way each piece has its own meaning. Whenever I think of it, it moves me again deeply how much love she incorporated into each creation. Yesterday she posted about the three creations in Jewelry Designs Meanings and Friendship… turquoise-shell-necklace1a

Another big Thank you goes to Kruti for her effort to meeting me in Dallas and for her lovely gifts! Thank you for your amazing friendship, for your openness, trust, and the love you share with us. You are a gem, dear sister! I am happy and proud to have you in my life!IMG-20151028-WA0012

A huge Thank you goes to Linda and her family. Linda invited me to stay with her in Louisiana and already her excitement about our meeting and my visit touched me a lot. Her hospitality and that lovely welcome by her and each family member is a gift with no money to buy. You, your husband, your sisters, and of course your mother are some of the most loving and cordial people I have ever met in my whole life. That I may call you my friends or even family is an honor and joy I will never be able to express! Thank you!

Just a thought

world-friends

Whatever invention and new technology was developed can be used in either way. Although often misused Social Media is a gift go me. The connections and friends from all over the world we make here on WordPress to me still is the vivid vision of how the world could look like: tolerance, respect, support, compassion, acceptance, open minds, sharing, love, peace…! There are millions of WP users. When we are connecting  in the real world we are spanning a net of awareness around the globe. We are role models in displaying and honoring everybody the way they are. We ignite the flame of awareness that together we can make this world a better place and prove that everybody in their unique appearance gives something special and important for the benefit of all, to make this world feel whole, and to make this a humanly place. Let’s prove that peace is not only a wish but an attitude, a state of mind. We are all brothers and sisters! We all want to be loved… so let’s love.
Happy Friday to all of you!

A Two Weeks Review Of Gratitude And Blessings

I heard sceptic voices regarding meeting bloggers in person because of a possible disappointment. My own experience was nothing like that at all. I did not have any expectations about the wonderful people I was going to meet. They already captured my heart for months and I dare to say that we did know each other by heart. That is why it was not necessary that any ice needed to be broken. There simply was no ice. We all embraced each other with arms wide open! We laughed and joked about all the things we were posting about. It truly were meetings between old friends! I am already thinking about my next trip. I will make it an effort that at least once in my life I want to embrace the people I call my friends, brothers, and sisters! Read more ›

Daily Kind Quote

You are loved

In Love and Light

Beautiful Memories!

Above the clouds so high

So much time to think back

Of beautiful times with lovely people

Of places I discovered new

Of friendship and heart warming hugs

Of smiles and sunshine

Of vows and gratitude

Of inspiration and love

Is that melancholy I feel?

Yes, sure, it’s there!

It tells me, it was good

And worthwhile to be repeated

Be Thankful!

My wonderful and most thankful blog sis, Ritu of But I Smile Anyway nominated me to participate in one of the most beautiful challenges. I just scheduled a post for one of the Mondays I am not available and it is about Gratitude. Gratitude is the most powerful tool to get centered, detach from burdening circumstances, changes the attitude, and connects with the thins in life we love. In my book I’m Free I dedicated a whole chapter to the subject of Gratitude. That way I feel honored and I am happy that Ritu considered me to participate. Read more ›

I have to make a decision – and that scares me…

Vonita of Passion Through Poetry asked me to write about making decisions and the problem about indecisiveness. I am convinced that at times every one of us is in a place where they struggle with deciding which way to go, which door to close or to choose and not knowing how it will turn out. Read more ›

What is connecting each other and of what use are differences?

The topic to this post was given by Keith of btg5885. I thank you very much, Keith, for dropping me your questions. It is one of my favorite topics to write about.  Here are Keith’s questions:

What are the common attributes in people who connect us? And, what are the differences that make life fun and interesting and make us better than who we are by experiencing them? Read more ›

Story about Cooperation – Guest Post

Wilson Agaba of Storing Hope is a kind-hearted man from Africa. He is of support for others wherever he can, and he spreads the message of love in schools of his country Uganda. He is one of those who are actively working for peace in this world. Wilson had a very tough childhood and youth. Something many of us can barely imagine. But he never locked up his heart. I offered Wilson a guest post because I am impressed by his actions and by his loving being. Wilson has an important suggestion regarding cooperation.  Please take some time and read his article and check out Wilson’s blog! Read more ›

I am from Austria – and I am damn proud of it!

Not 13’000 but 25’000 refugees entered Austria on the weekend. A wave of helpfulness, solidarity, and humanity washed over the country. We Are The Seeds Of Love

A new challenge I did not hear about before. OK, that doesn’t mean anything since I am here for only 15 months. Anyway this one sounds very interesting. Anne of The Main Focus has nominated me for this challenge. Anne is a woman I admire a lot. She is challenged through her health condition but a role model in standing tall and moving on. My Symbol Of Letting Go

Letting go is a topic in everybody’s life at times. Yesterday I was talking to a friend and I realized that during the past weeks more and more friends are posting about letting go or about their process of letting go. There are so many different reasons or stories behind. May it be about love, about plans we made, about disappointments, being hurt. But in the end we can mostly sum it up to two points: Read more ›

Song of the Day

I heard this song yesterday on the radio and knew I had to post it today. The song moved me a lot because that is what we experience here every day. I know I repeat myself but what we find here on this blogsphere is still a miracle to me. We live a concept which is the recipe of peace and healing. We are experiencing a gathering and connection of spirits with different origines and different kinds of lives. We not only want to be part of other people’s circle but also want to have others in our circle. We experience the magic and power of oneness. When it is possible to live this concept in the small then it is possible to apply it in every part of our lives and in the world itself.

I choose the original video for this song. It leads into the matter in a wonderful way.

Love can build a bridge
Between your heart and mine
Love can build a bridge
Don’t you think it’s time?
When we stand together, it’s our finest hour
We can do anything, anything
We’re believing in the power Read more ›

She Let Go… She Embraced… She Is Back…

… stronger than ever before!

I apologize for my short noticed disappearance. There was some turmoil in my private life from one moment to another. The old story about letting go. I will tell you about my experience after A Big Thank You to all of you. I am so moved how much you all cared. I had never ever expected that. Although I closed the comment section on my last post on Monday many of my wonderful friends sensed something and simply commented in the loveliest ways on a different post. Colleen, Ritu, Zee, and Michelle even stayed in touch with me via email. One year ago almost nobody knew me and today people say I was missed and they make the effort to get in touch with me in order to show me that I am loved… that was overwhelming! I am profoundly touched by so much love, compassion, and care. I don’t know how to thank you. I love you all from the deepest bottom of my heart! And believe me, I missed you all badly! My community rocks!!! Read more ›

3 Day Quote Challenge – Day 2

A big thank you again to Linda of Linda Creation for inviting me for the 3 Day Quote Challenge. It is day 2 and I want to add a quote of Neville Goddard. The Hand of the Universe

I wasn’t at a good place for some hours on Sunday. Although I should know it better I got lost in the “Why” of memories. But as you know me I am not willing to be caught by my thoughts. Therefore I am digging into myself but at the same time look outside for hints, for signposts which either give me an answer or at least show me a way out of the cloud. Read more ›

Freestyle Writing Challenge

Dear Ritu from But I Smile Anyway nominated me for the Freestyle Writing Challenge. It is the second time within a week I was nominated for it. Thank you, Ritu, for thinking of me! Ritu is a woman full of life, sparkling with her shiny, positive, and always uplifting energy! It is impossible not to take Ritu to one’s heart. Please visit her blog and convince yourself.

It is a challenge every time since I don’t know what I have to write about. I am a in a creative place? Do I know something about the topic? Will my text make sense since I mustn’t go back and edit anything? But right that is the thrill… isn’t it?

These are the rules I copied from Ritu’s post:

1. Open a blank Document

2. Set a stop watch or your mobile phone timer to 5 or 10 minutes, whichever challenge you prefer.
3. Your topic is at the foot of this post BUT DO NOT SCROLL DOWN TO SEE IT UNTIL YOU ARE READY WITH YOUR TIMER!!!
4. Once you start writing do not stop until the alarm sounds!
5. Do not cheat by going back and correcting spelling and grammar using spell check (it is only meant for you to reflect on your own control of sensible thought flow and for you to reflect on your ability to write with correct spelling and grammar.)
6. You may or may not pay attention to punctuation or capitals.
7. At the end of your post write down ‘No. of words = ____” to give an idea of how much you can write within the time frame.
8. Do not forget to copy paste the entire passage on your blog post with a new topic for your nominees and copy paste these rules with your nomination (at least five (5) bloggers)

Here is Ritu’s topic I am supposed to write about:

The meaning of family

What means family? Family means home, having a place to hide, and being accepted the way we are. Family is shelter and comfort. Family is a gift. I married young with 23 and wanted to have a family as soon as possible. I wanted to have 2 to 3 children. I wanted to do something meaningful, being there for a littel, miraculous creations seeing them grow, develop, and give my life meaning in taking responsility of a little human being. I wanted to be a mom since I was in my late teenage times.

I am happy that my wish came true and I was gifted with 3 children (13/16/20). They are all unique as can be. But it is not always easy to be a tolerant part of the family. Most of all I am challenged when I see that what I do is simply taken for granted. I am getting frustrated, annoyed and also sad since the kids are older and instead of cooperating thinking they are in hotel mom and don’t need to care about anything but simply can drop their stuff and leave it where they lose it, or when they see no need to clean up behind themselves.

Then I need to remember that I am blessed with 3 wonderful children. I am happy they are caring for themselves and we have become more like a group of friends. I love their intellect and humor. I love my family. I love that I am a mom and I am looking forward to the time when my kids have their own family!

Word count: 266

Time: 10 minutes

Oh well… it is what it is 😉

Freestyle Writing Challenge

free-writing1

My dear friend, Saadia from Reflection of a Rainbow nominated me for this very interesting challenge. Thank you so much Saadia for thinking of me. I was not sure how this would turn out but it was fun and really interesting to see how I handled that. I am completely surprised that I not only could complete the text  in a way it made sense but also the number of words astonished me I wrote within that short time. I mustn’t edit anything but when I checked back I  saw there are only a few typos. Yeah!!!

A Silent Prayer…

Meanwhile more than 3000 dead people are counted in Nepal. I don’t think we can imagine where the others go through. We all have our lives and our obligations but there is a little something we all can do. Just take a minute go into your heart and send love. Perhaps it might sound like nothing. But believe me, it has an effect. The more people the more powerful. Let’s send love and strength to the ones in need and to the helpers: Read more ›

Taking a break!

Wow, I can’t believe it! It is mid April and I am sitting outside on the patio with my laptop only wearing a bikini! The weather is gorgeous. We have temperatures in the lower 80s already! It’s a dream.

As I mentioned it recently I thought about taking a break from blogging. The next two months are getting very busy. My education is about to reach the first certificate level, I am giving 4 weekend seminars and workshops, birthdays are coming up and there are some other bigger events. But most of all I finally want to finish my book. I need to work myself through the last chapter wich is a huge one. Due to the happenings and experiences of the past 2 years and most of all the past 2 months it has to be rewritten and extended. Did I decide to stay away from WordPress? Read more ›

When the need to help becomes a challenge…

It is hard when we are at a place of frustration or desperation. When life turns into a rollercoaster ride and you don’t know anymore if you are up or down. And even if you know it changes constantly. Somehow you back off but at the same time hope that someone sees it – feels it, because you don’t want to say anything – and is just there. Read more ›
