Today I feel like sharing one of my poems with you. It is one of the first poems I wrote after I dared to express my hidden Self again. Therefore it is full of forgotten and long-suppressed feelings that finally found their outlet again. This poem is also part of my book Enjoy Life! If you like this poem or know someone you’d like to share it with…. please do it!
Eternal Love
There’s something inside me, that’s keeping me warm.
It guides me safely through darkness and storm.
When despair and weakness are coming along
This feeling encourages me to carry on.
When we look in our eyes we are telling us stories.
We feel each other’s joy and also our worries.
To touch you is as the moon kisses the sun;
The broken coin, reunited to one.
No matter how far or how long we’re apart,
We are connected forever with a heavenly chord.
Knowing each other by the feeling like from a higher sphere –
It seems so familiar; has it always been there?
No beginning and no end, existing through divine lights;
That is what I see when I look in your eyes.
You can hurt me or even send me away.
It won’t change anything – my love for you will eternally stay.
And if it’s meant to be that one day we must part,
There’s always this cord from my to your heart.
In Love and Light!
