I’m certainly not wise enough to ever be trusted to know what I need most days. Work with what we are given. ❤️

I agree, and that is always the best thing to work with, otherwise we would not have gotten it… 💖

Erika, there was a terrific “Twilight Zone,” episode where a gambling man dies and wakes up in a penthouse suite. Every time he gambles, he wins. Every woman he speaks to he charms. Every meal carte is his favorites. He gets bored as there is no fun in winning all the time. He tells his host he no longer wants to be in heaven and he is ready to go to the other place. His host laughs and says “you are already in hell.” Keith

Fantastic lesson and I can completely relate to that experience. What would life be if there was nothing that challenged us. We could never recognize that we achieved something or grew from experience. Good one, thanks for sharing, Keith!

Erika, I don’t know if you are fan of the “Twilight Zone,” but they had excellent writers who wrote thought-provoking episodes like this one. Keith

No, I am not familiar with it. But what you told me about that episode sounds intriguing. I’ll have to check whether I find it on Netflix.

Erika, it is a long time TV series hosted by Rod Serling. Their thirty minute stories are unusual. Top of mind, I can recall one where a mannequin is returning to a store after a thirty day stint being human, not realizing she is mannequin. We don’t realize she is mannequin until the end. Keith

To reach that stage of total surrender and acceptance of reality for what it is requires a lot of work, inner work especially.

I agree, Sanjo. I think for most of us it is a life-time job. But each step already brings a lot of relief to the moment and supports the progress. Thank you for stopping by, Sanjo 😊
