Sometimes, I don’t know what to share
Caught up in daily life
Then I sit down, empty my thoughts
Let inspiration thrive

It needs a while, then it goes quick
To feel the message rise
A warmth comes up and fills my chest
My heart gets twice its size  

I’m thankful for this writing tool
That clears all heavy thoughts
It leads me back to who I am
Unties restrictive knots

It is a gift to know that place
Where I find all I need
And every time, I understand
That I am blessed indeed
