Relief
After the storm, they say
The sun shines again
After the rain
The air’s clean, I claim
A heavy storm
Reveals the light
Breaks our walls
Clears our sight
A heavy rain
Shows a new day
The dirt and dust
Get washed away
Let the storm rage
Don’t hide the pain
Let it all out
Just let it rain
In Love and Light

A good downpour has helped me “cleanse”. I’ll be leaving for a week away soon. My rainy times have been good for my soul. I’ve missed you. Love and light my wise friend 💛🙏🏻♥️

Amen, my friend. It’s so good to be here. I’m not the same without being on the blog. It’s amazing how much it fulfills a part of me that I didn’t have for many years. The Spirit engulfs me, yes, but I was missing connections with like-minded and heart-connected spirit-filled fellow nomads. Now, I have that. And it’s a complete joy. Thank you for your patience and understanding during my absence! My youngest son moved. My oldest son had surgery. I had my monthly treatment day which resulted in NO treatment (my body is not in a good position to handle it this month). NOW? I’m going to take a respite. I was offered a gift–from my best friend in college. It’s humbling, Erika. She is taking me to the beach. Remember I’m a mountain girl? Do I wear hiking boots on the beach? Tee hee. I’ll think of you and wave to you, Mark way over in the Down Under, and let the salt water and air do its healing work. I look forward to a change of scenery and intention. Much love to you, dear friend. ❣️❣️❣️

Oh Karla, you’ll have to go on a roster to spread you so far. But with a big heart like yours that will be easy 🤣
And yay to the beach, all that water is soooo grounding. I’ve lived by one for so long its almost a part of me. Oh, and I’ll send the dolphins across to greet you and share a swim in the waves too 😀
Have a great trip and lots of love to you and Finn. All that sunshine and water should heal a heart after all you’ve gone through. Enjoy! 🤗❤️🙏

Thank you, Gary, real strength does not come from trying to be strong but from lettin everything out that can weaken us 💖

Beautifully written Erika, it touches a heart held tight. And a delightful clearing it is to just stand in that rain and feel its cleansing. Thank you for daring me to stand in it next time instead of ducking for cover 🤗🤣❤️🙏

A dance in the rain can be such a relief and has a strong healing effect. We may go down to our knees but only to stand up stronger again 💖

Thank you, Sylvster, I am glad when I could convey an uplifting message. We try to be strong but that only makes us week.

You’re welcome. Right, we cannot always be strong, we have to be who we are in the moment.

And strength comes exactly from that. Everything else is just oppressing.
