I am at a point in life where I have to check out my options anew. I need to look at my compass and see which direction fits me best right now. Most of all, I want to do this relaxed and with faith in my heart, giving life time to react to my vibration and to attract what matches my new me. While in this new thought mode, life already sent me a sign when it made me rediscover one of my earlier posts which I would like to share today:
There are so many projects living in my impatient heart to be realized. Although I would love to go for each one immediately they have to take numbers because I am only one woman. Each one of the additional projects in my pipeline is “burning under my fingernails” as we say in German. But each one is also pretty time-consuming and would actually need my full attention. Of course, I don’t want to stress myself completely out. But, as I said in Dreams – Reminders Of Your Soul, you cannot silence the calling only because it doesn’t fit in your current agenda. It only gets louder over time. It is who you are and it wants to be lived. It is worse to be unhappy because you don’t live your purpose than having a full agenda but a content heart.
However, it made me think because a lack of time is one of those factors which can get in the way and keep us from turning towards those things our hearts are dedicated to. It is definitely not always an excuse because not everybody can just quit their jobs and ignore their obligations. We need to make a living and have responsibilities to fulfill. Also, time is not necessarily an excuse provoked by fear. It probably doesn’t even come that far that fear can occur. Because the inability to handle the time management already blocks further thoughts.
When time is so rare it can indeed cause feelings of overwhelm when thinking of how to squeeze a project in… and we wipe those upcoming ideas or visions away. But what can we lose if we removed that block and imagined what it would be like if that inner picture became reality? What can we lose if we – just for fun – make a plan on how it could be realized? Perhaps it turns out that it is really not possible to find a way of making something happen right now. But there is a 50% chance that the opposite happens and possibilities appear to make little but at least first steps. And while forming ideas, even more options may come to mind. As a consequence of this process, we realize that time has never been the real factor. It was our disbelief that kept us from making the effort to look closer.
Only because I have never experienced it,
doesn’t mean it was not experienced yet.Only because I cannot imagine it,
doesn’t mean it is not realizable.Only because I cannot understand it,
doesn’t mean it is not possible.Only because no one has ever done it,
before doesn’t mean it cannot be done.
To find out if it is a fact that we cannot make it happen or if it is our mind keeping us inside our comfort zone, we need to align with that inner picture glowing in the heart. In my post from last Monday, There Is Only Love or No Love, I said that love is our natural state of being and that only love can merge with who we really are. Same over here, we need to tune ourselves in the energy of what we want to be or want to have. Otherwise, it is like wanting to listen to a specific radio station but not changing the channel. We need to feel the passion and enthusiasm for the outcome. Then we put ourselves in a state where the heart can freely paint our visions in the brightest colors. Once we do that, we are one with the energy of the project and detached from the energy of excuses. Being in the energy of what we want opens up the mindset for solutions. We take a new perspective and look towards the realization. And as always, what we seek we will find. We can only find options when we look out for them.
I just said in aligning with the outcome you can find out whether your project can be realized or not. This is not quite true. Once aligned with the energy of your project you only look at the direction of solutions and you already are on the road towards the realization. And there is something else: Once you enter your soul’s sphere you are connected with its divine origin. And you clearly feel that there is a way because with God all things are possible.
Whatever I want in life, I need to be it before my physical eyes can see it.
So, what would you do if there were no limits?

Our learning experiences prepare us for that moment of awareness, when the light bulb turns on brightly.

We can look at the past (as far as how far we’ve come) what lies in front is wide open. Awareness to awareness, step by step.

The past shapes us (the experiences we made, how we reacted, the consequences of our reactions, and the experience we make again) us. Sometimes we saved misunderstandings and it is important to look back and look at the situation with a fresh and distanced mind to reverse our view on it. That can help to solve issues we have today. So, yes, we can look at the past and we should but to learn from it not to bury ourselves with guilt and shame, or anger that we did defend ourselves… We need to learn to apply what we learned today, as you said, step by step.

An interesting thing this life we have…and its driver. I spend so long just doing ‘have to’ that in the middle of my life I reached a place where I asked myself…is this it? Enough so that I dared to go into one of those dreams that gradually spoke louder. In the beginning I didn’t believe I could do it. But I finally took a step into that healing that spoke within, but just as a Massage Therapist.
And simply because I stepped into what my heart spoke, it spoke back and I began to get a stronger connection to Spirit. Then because of that I ‘let go’ of my restrictions and became so much more confident and opened even further to that thing I loved, that healing of ‘my’ pain and in doing so I understood and began to help heal others.
But an interesting thing I found in it all…it was that acceptance of me that showed I didn’t have to do anything in particular. I was urging myself to be something, and that is needed…until we do accept us. And it finally stops wanting to be ‘something’, simply because the driver was ever those doubts in some way or form…until we do something that is built on that acceptance of us.
It all has a place, from those much earlier times where we just follow what we are taught. Until a nudge to dare those dreams in some form, become those dreams that give an acceptance of us. Then dared again to refine them, to that acceptance we have inside. Until finally seeing that beauty within us and let go those doubts and fears, and accept what we do from a no longer ‘judged’, us or others, place within us.
Acceptance is a very powerful thing, and when we do finally touch that place we realize the beauty of this entire journey. That it all has its place so we can eventually find us, that love within, the driver of it all ❤️
A powerful post Erika, that dare to see inside and ask that age old question…am I happy? 😀❤️🙏

Wow, I think you brought me to the same conclusion right now. It is too complex to explain the whole thing. But reading your words made me reflect my current situation about a job offer that actually takes me to similar tasks like I used to do, although I wanted to get away from it. I was searching in me why I am so restisting this work on one hand. Also, when I only get job offers of the similar type then either I have something to solve there OR I have to make more efforts to get something else. For some reasen, I think it is the first case. And now, reading your comment, accepting myself, stopping the search, just letting myself flow makes me find peace with that kind of job. Also that I scheduled that post for yesterday is such a hint that I may have even done that as a reminder to myself from my future self. It is really awesome.
Your and Colin’s comment (What do I have to lose?) have been such signposts and encouraging pushers, that I can only thank you from the bottom of my heart for your dedication to read and commenton my post.
Your last paragraph really hit home too. Ask the old question… and if you answer no, then why? Thank you! 💖

Thank you Erika, your words gratefully received kind lady…and expressed well. It is a long journey but ever asking us to see ourselves and slowly go beyond ‘us’ each time it questions our path.
And we’ll never know unless we put our toe into the water and let that experience speak. Sometimes we can do ‘the same old thing’…but sometimes we have changed and the outcome will speak quite differently.
Good luck my friend, it will always speak to us, for we ever do change ❤️🙏

Step by step getting closer to the point we are to reach. And we never know how close or far away we already/still are. So, it is to keep going, trusting, and following our inner guidance, and the signposts that hit home.
You have no idea, what a step you made me take with your mindful comment, Mark. And you don’t know how much I appreciate it. Through you, a big weight got lifted.
Thank you for being here with and for us 💖

Thank you Erika, I’m glad it touched that ‘knowing’ inside and gave you a release. I don’t know how many times a ‘synchronicity’ came along for me and truly touched something for me to understand, and in doing so set me free. I’m glad it has helped in some way. Thank you for those lovely words 😀❤️🙏

We can be limitless yet too often we shut ourselves down

And I would say that is the main reason for feeling limited.

I think, core limits exists in our minds, what we may call limits might be doorways to something greater, but until we learn acceptance and surrender that’s when we allow ourselves to go beyond the limits. What a great post Erika thanks for sharing.

Sanjo, that is the curcial point. The basic limits are lying in our minds. It may need quite some lessons or experiences to understand that first and foremost, we set them. Even appearently physical limits can be overcome.
Thank you for reading and sharing your inspiring thoughts, Sanjo!

I think our only true limit is physical, we can train our body to perform at the highest level it can but over time we cannot sustain that level. Our minds and thoughts can find and create ways to achieve our dreams/goals. We are always capable of learning and growing. If there were no limits, we could do extraordinary things on a consistent basis.

And those limits maybe are what keep us on track in this lifetime. The strictest limits we set ourselves with our minds anyway. Even when we think our body has this or that limit. Just look at disable people. Sometimes they get further than those not disabled. Maybe because they have to find ways with their mind to overcome their physical limits. I think this is a very interersting topic. Thanks for your inspiration to it, Sylvester.

The disabled is a good comparison. They push themselves to overcome what limitations they may have. When we really focus in on something we drive ourselves to accomplish it. This was a very good post to revisit.

Yes, exactly. Sometimes we need to check our own disability. I mean, when I say: “I cannot run a marathon because I don’t want it” – then it is ok. But when I say that I cannot do it because I can’t (I am not fit enough,(regardless of any serious health conditions), then it is an excuse. Maybe I cannot do it tomorrow but I can start practicing and run another one. Just an example that we are so quickly in limiting our own phyiscal abilities too. Gosh, we could do so much, if we did not allow our thoughts (fear) to slow us down.

You summed it up correctly “if we didn’t allow our thoughts (fear) to slow us down. We have so much potential and capabilities to do amazing things!

We so have! I think the majority of us is still far from realizing how much… me included.

But once we become fully aware then a whole new world opens up…

I agree! The question is only: When are we fully aware? Do we know that?

A great question only to be answered in the moment of awareness.

We might never know how far we already have come (at least down here) and what still lies in front of us. Even when we may think we are fully aware, it may only be the preparation for the next important step to take.

Two quotes comes immediately come to mind:
“If you have everything to gain, and nothing to lose ………. do it!”
Another from many years ago which states (paraphrasing):
“Lack of time is not an excuse for not following your dreams. We have the same amount of time available as Mother Theresa; as Thomas Edison; as Benjamin Franklin; as Henry Ford, and so many others. The only difference between us all is how we decide(d) to use the time we have.”
Another good Post Erika. 🙂

Oh, yes, both quotes are removing the potential for excuses. Either we want it, then we will find a way or we use excuses, then we may not want it strong enough. You know, I scheduled this post about 4 weeks ago, and today the post and your comment give me the necessery boost to take the challenge am encountering currently! Awesome! Thank you, Colin!
