The Problems of the World need to be solved on the Level of Belief

When I was on the plane toward San Francisco, I finally had the time to continue reading one of the books started reading years ago. It is the book What God Said by Neale Donald Walsch. The only problem is that when I start reading, my mind starts spinning, and all kinds of thought fractions try to connect. That happens instantly. So after reading a few pages, instead of reading you found me writing. The last time I read that book was back in 2018 – 4 years before Russia invaded Ukraine. Now I continued reading with a chapter about the cause of issues between one another that can even lead to the development of wars. It amazed me again, that sometimes breaks are necessary to understand a message read later better.

In his book, Walsch shares some of his conversations with God. One of the core messages is that “the problem facing the world is a spiritual problem”. The misunderstanding is that “you think you are being terrorized by other people, but in truth, you are being terrorized by your beliefs”. The misunderstanding is that peace won’t come by telling others (with or without weapons) how wrong those are and how right these are. We keep trying to solve our problems as if they were political problems. But the origin lies far beneath it.

We have unlearned to believe in what we want. We may think we do, but we don’t. There’s that voice that creeps in as soon as a spark of belief dares to surface and destroys it with doubts and rational thinking. Since we lost our ability to believe in more than we know, we stopped looking further and deeper. We stopped exploring the unknown because we claim we already know it all. We have become so fixated only on our physical existence that made any deeper layer invisible. But that is where insights and wisdom lie.

We can only save our planet, lives, and whole existence when we remember what rules this physical work and risk believing in something we don’t see but feel as a truthful power underlying the mind. It’s a power that speaks of respect and humility. Let’s release what we want to believe in instead of hiding it in a dark dungeon inside. Yes, there will be ridicule, envy, and hatred toward those who dare to believe. But the more people join in, the more are less afraid to do so too. The view into the future will become lighter and filled with so much hope and motivation. We need to believe in the good instead of holding on to all the bad things we see right now. Nothing will change if we only focus on what already is and try to solve that with the same weapons that caused all those bad things. We need to dare to consider that there is more we don’t understand than there is what we do understand. We need to dare to be open and stop defending our points of view only because it is the only point of view we know by then. There is no room anymore for pride or personal preference to have peace in this world, and also, because we are running out of time.

We can only solve the problems of the world, when we stop talking, stop shouting, stop SHOOTING – and start listening, respecting, appreciating, and accepting. We need to empty our minds of everything we think is true, become still, and go back to start. We need to be like children again and look at life and all its facets as if we saw it for the first time. We need to explore with a curious mind, not one that thinks it already knows. Otherwise, we will cover our sight (again) and miss the crucial steps. There will always be someone who knows more and also one who knows less. Nobody knows everything – most of all not in all its depth. We can never know how much we really know. So, we need to stay humble but willing to do everything that is necessary to heal the big pain -a pain that got caused unconsciously over all those millennia by the way we thought and by our inability to believe in something more than we already know.

Never must we let someone tell us not to believe only because they “know”. And never must we be those. If one says, let me tell you how things really are… be careful. Too many of those have already brought big tragedies over this world. It doesn’t matter who said it: the government, politicians, friends, or family. It is up to everyone to take responsibility for what they want to believe. There is no excuse for blaming anyone who misled you. Start using your own brain and heart cells.

Dare to believe in what you want but not what you are told to believe. Whatever you truly believe will make you automatically behave like your belief which leads you to the best way to create your vision into being. Everything we have today started with a belief someone truly believed in.

Accept your spiritual power of belief, it is the only way to solve this world’s problems.

It is so important to take a step back. Most of all then when we believe that we ARE the truth in person and try to convince others of it.

I’ve thought a lot about this recently and your thoughts are meaningful to my thought train. The perspective we frequently get stuck in – when I say we I mean humanity as a whole is the perspective that is rather inward looking to ourselves the immediate situations and problems etc.
If we can realise that we’re one insignificant part of a vast cosmos, understand that life is uncertain and that the daily problems we see as big are really insignificant as well then we can start appreciating that life for what it is more.
If this humility can be coupled with positive life philosophies and understandings then we can believe in better things, better outcomes for all of us.
At leas that’s what I think…

I totally get what you say. It is about taking a step back and watching yourself, life, the world, and everyone in it from a distance. I would not say that we are insignificant. I think the problem is that we still live in a belief of separation. We don’t understand that we are important as part of the whole and that everything is connected which makes our actions and appearance even more important. But yes, it needs more humility to even take that step back, take ourselves back and watch us as part of an immense universe that we will never be able to understand.
Thank you for your fantastic comment, Simon. I appreciate it very much! Also, because you are so into outer space that makes you see clearly how small we are while we believe how “indispensible” we are!

This is a good post to reinforce our spirit and take our thinking to a spiritual level. The natural mind is conditioned to the physical world/nature. When we can take our thoughts to a spiritual level we can bring about a change. Don’t allow those doubts to sink their teeth in what we believe.

That’s the point! We need to raise our energy to a spiritual level to only understand that more is possible than the mind can capture. But even therefor we need to silence the mind. It is in understanding that spirit rules the body and not the other way around. Thank you for your fantastic comment, Sylvester!

You have explained the power of belief so openly and beautifully in your way by using your own journey. I believe there are many of us that awaken to a higher consciousness, an internal belief system and a remembering to feel into his journey rather than thin it. A dear friend of mine puts it this way, “keep your heart open and your mind reclined”. I know what the power of belief has done in my life 🙏 ❤️ pausing to question everything I observe. Aligning myself with soul. I’m listening to this author’s audio book, “Conversations with God,” and I find it inspiring, intriguing and full of truth. As we continue to step into more authentic skin, rising to the deeper levels of consciousness within, may we grow stronger in our beliefs that love is the only truth. The power to heal all ✨️💛👏 stupendous post my dearest!! Love the synchronicities between our both offerings to this WordPress community 💗🙌

The power of belief is so amazing! It makes us unstoppable in all ways. So, why not using it for us instead of against us? It is crazy that we only have to learn how to use it, and (first and foremost) that we can use it consciously! Such a deep and life-changing insight. I am so glad you found out how to use the power of belief and how you changed your life dramatically. Life is amazing and offers tools that we are still far from being aware of.
Thank you for you wonderful comment and traveling this journey with us. Yes, the synchronicity is incredible. Much love and big hugs to you, dear soul sister 💖

Your whole article spoke to my core being Erika… Like you have have the full set of all the Conversations with God books and what profound reads they are..
And so true what you said here.. We have to UNlearn our belief systems and what we have been taught.. For not all is as it seems within our timeframe of existence here on our Planet.. Our History especially as well as some of those Religious books been manipulated to help condition and control people into a belief system…

Always the aim is divide.. and conquer.. Control by coercion and fear.
While there are many, many wrongs to Any war… for it is always the innocent who get caught in the middle of wars, and violence, who suffer the most.. Those sitting behind their high powered desks dishing out orders care not for those boots on the ground..

But as we unveil more Knowledge as to what is occurring world wild… We are all of us not possession of the facts of the whys and wherefores in any conflict taking place.. We the citizens of the world rely upon the media to ‘feed’ us the information.

I have a feeling in the not too distant future we may well look back upon these times and understand them at a deeper level than we do at this present moment..

Just like your book, at the first time of reading Erika… Like many books too I have read, then come back to later in years to SEE more clearly the message and understand it better, because I was then ready to understand..
People in the world right now have to be ready to absorb and digest what has been occurring here for thousands of years by entities which have sort to harm humanity.

And one day… I pray, we will reshape a better world through the belief of Love and Kindness to all.. We are here right now Erika, sowing the seeds, for future generations.. We are holding Light and sending love into the world.

One day we pray more will Believe in the Truth of LOVE… Unconditional..

Much love dear Erika… So enjoyed your thoughts here ❤ xx ❤

Oh, I so hear you in everything you said here, Sue. There is so much manipulation and depending on the situation and conditions of people they gladly believe what they are given without asking, rooting it as a truth inside after a while. We forget that all that we believe in is only an opinion.
Opinions create wars, not the truth. The truth would cease them.
I so feel the same that in a time not so far away we will understand a lot more of what happened and of what created this all. Gosh, I really think it is close, and I hope that many many many will learn from it. Start thinking and believing independently for a better world.
Often I am asked, how shall we ever reach that point when so many are ignorant? Or it all seems in vain since too many are following the words of false rulers who are only feeding their hunger for power? We need to understand that people have always only learned by experience. However, we need to be role models in what we think supports peace and Mother Nature. We need to keep spreading the word. There is no room or time for doubt, we need to believe in a better world and act as if.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed comment. You know, I appreciate that and YOU very much, dear Sue 💖

Spot on Erika… What you said here sums it up perfectly.. ” There is no room or time for doubt, we need to believe in a better world and act as if.” EXACTLY…. We are the creators of our future within what we think and believe in now…
Much love and Gratitude also Erika… Love to you my friend. ❤ xx

I know that you and I and quite many others too are on that track. We will believe and go for the light in humanity as long as we breathe, I have no doubt.
Thank you, dear Sue, for being such a powerful companion and inspiration on that journey. I already said it, but I am so glad, we met – which I BELIEVE was meant to be 💖

As wonderful, and as important as science is, we cannot/should not believe that science holds all the answers ….. which is sadly what so many believe, and what is alluded to in many education systems.

When confronted with a scientific position that is opposed to my position, I try and steer the individual in a “be open minded” direction. My position is simply that while science is a very valued resource, to suggest that every question can be answered by science is stating that science knows everything there is to know about everything, which is quite simply a rather strange and short-sighted belief to have. How can any of us know everything. The world was flat not too long ago in our history!

In the context of your post here Erika, yes we should always question and always look for answers. and so often we are left to simply have faith in our inner thoughts.

Most of us each want to live in peace; in comfort and in good health. We need to recognize that for all our visual, cultural and spiritual differences, we all really do want the same… to live in peace; in comfort, and in good health.

You made a very good comparison here. I like being blown away by scientific insights. However, some statements may have proofs but still something may not “feel” right. We need to be aware that science may still not have the ultimate answer. Your example of the flat earth says it all. Even science needs to stay open and aware that they may have discovered something profound but maybe it is only a fraction of the big insight. We know so much more than centuries, decades, or even months ago. Development is never final…
Thank you for your comment, Colin!

Indeed Erika, our beliefs are what we project out into the world. Our doubts and negativities most prominent, but only because we don’t understand them. And in daring to go beyond them a field of beauty awaits. To know we are greater than those things and can always go further. We have always gone beyond what was there so that they are now behind us, each step building a greater version of us, a greater love within us, and a belief of them greater than what went before. Dare to be that love by going beyond it all, a more beautiful place we will not find. A very beautiful post kind lady, you touch those places so that we will ask ourselves ‘can we do this’. And the answer has always been there as we change in each step we have already taken. Thank you my friend, may we all reach out…and create that beauty instead 😀❤️🙏

You say it, Mark. We have proved countless times that we can break through this wall of ignorance and self-importance. It is that step out of our ego into the open field of possibility. All things are possible, so why do we still believe that only our limited knowledge is the wisdom everyone needs? As you said, let’s reach out… and keep doing so… thank you, Mark 😎

Our experiences are slowly opening a lifetime of those fears that have been locked within us. And to truly appreciate what we are experiencing we have to go through something, though painful, truly profound to leave its understanding within us. If I give you lots of money you will be happy but not appreciate it. But if you have to work for that money its end product of what you buy is so much more appreciated. When its the pain of your heart you go through, the more profound is that empathy, compassion and love it creates. And at its end is that final understanding that a lifetime of hurt, pain, and so many scars leaves something so powerful to be beyond words. We must have those scars…or we would ever be ho hum and not an appreciation anywhere. In fact we would then just ‘expect’ it all (you know, those expectation things we ever seem to throw out into the world), because that is all we have ever obtained. Great post Erika, hard as all this is, it is leaving us with something so beautiful to be beyond words 😀❤️🙏

Yes, whatever we put our efforts into is much more valued and appreciated. AND we appreciate ourselves even more and see that we can go past our former limits. I love what you said about the scars. They are the drawing life paints on us to make us even more individual. They are like fingerprints.
Have a great rest of your day, Mark, and thank you so much for your always so wonderful comments!

[…] In California, I bought a small book called The Five Levels of Attachment by Don Miguel Ruiz Jr. I have only read the first few pages, but again, my mind started spinning from everything that is falling into place like a jigsaw puzzle. Also, it makes a good addition to last week’s post “The Problems of the World need to be solved on the Level of Belief”. […]
