Red Noses are Great Teachers

Haven’t we all come to a point in our lives, where we asked ourselves: Is this it? Where’s the thrill? Where’s the challenge? Where’s the appreciation? What have I missed? When thoughts like these arise, something within us begins to move, change and grow. We begin to look for new adventures or what we’ve noticed we’re missing.

You know how the law of attraction works: Anything that matches the frequency you send out will find you. So, in your curious and openly expectant attitude, opportunities and people will suddenly appear. Being so observant, you seize the opportunities that come your way, believing they will show up to take your life to a higher level. And they will. It can give you the experience you need to realize that what you already have in life is more than others could wish. Your life will be filled with new meaning because you are now looking at it with a more experienced perspective. Or, you may find exactly what you needed to bring the change into your life to lead you on a new journey. You can only tell which of the two options it is after you have had the experience.

Is the grass greener on the other side? In some cases, it really is. But in other cases, it absolutely is not. Life is filled with tradeoffs. Most of the time, we have no means of comparison and must make our decision whether a compromise is worth it based on the situation at hand. As always, we are wiser in hindsight. Depending on the compromise, we can lose or gain everything. I took the risk and came close to losing what meant the world to me. I thought I was opening up the world, but in reality, I was cutting myself off from my world. I am aware of the grace that I had the choice and the opportunity to find out for myself without losing what I only then realized was most important to me.

Sometimes you have to bump your nose to find out that you already have everyone you need in your life and everything you need inside of you to make something of your life. No one can bring anything into your life without your cooperation. It is always you yourself who make your life heaven or hell on earth. As long as we put our happiness in someone else’s hands, we will keep bumping our noses. If we can’t handle ourselves, we can’t take the other person as they are but try to mold them to our liking. This ruins everyone involved. If you don’t realize this, you will make the same experience again, asking yourself why you are always attracting the wrong people.

I am grateful for the painful u-turns. I am thankful for the many priceless experiences that have led me to realize my potential in many areas of my life. I am thankful for being forced to give more than I intended to. I am grateful that I took the risk of losing something. I am more than thankful that I was given a comparison. Because that’s the reason I can honestly say:

I love my life and don’t want it to be any different.

In Love and Light

Truer words never found Erika. We will trip and stumble, and attract accordingly…but always given with a great love because it knows that down that path is a realization, a realization of what love truly is and the finding of us. Great post dear lady, and a beauty untold 😀❤️🙏🏽

This is why we came here to learn from the opposites. As we often talked about, we need to experience unhappiness and dissatisfaction, cold and dark, to understand what happiness, light and warmth is… we simply need to experience the opposite of love to remember who we really are.

I am sorry to hear that. But you know, after every rain there follows a rainbow that leads to sunnier days. I hope the rain is over soon, dear Gary!

You never know what consequences a decision has, but one thing is for sure, it teaches you. Thank you, Michael, and have a nice evening too!
