Accepting and Resigning

I recently enjoyed a singing bowl treatment. If you’ve never had one, you wouldn’t believe what it can do to your body and soul. Before the treatment, we always talk about whether I have any specific requests regarding the outcome. I usually tell her to just do what she feels is necessary. I want to keep my head out of it and let happen what needs to happen. But last time, I wanted her to consistently follow up on any blocks she finds. I told her that I am so tired of a reflexive resistance arising in me when it comes to things that are ridiculous and that lock me up inside. This automatic resistance keeps me from expanding, and I’m so tired of working against it, which only causes more resistance. I said I wanted to be transparent and permeable. After the treatment (which was very effective), she said, resistance is not necessarily a bad thing but rather an intuitive reaction to not letting it all in. That got me thinking.

Indeed, we don’t have to accept everything that is thrown at us. We need to be steadfast within ourselves to say stop and no when something doesn’t feel right. But sometimes we don’t have a choice. We have commitments at work or in our personal lives that require us to step out of our comfort zone. There is life that happens around us and confronts us with uncomfortable situations. There are people we cannot simply turn away from when we feel offended or provoked. If we are not steadfast within ourselves, then such situations can cause resistance on the one hand and resignation at the same time because we have to cope without wanting to. So we have to find solutions within ourselves to deal with it without being weakened or even breaking down because of it.

Being permeable gives me the ability to accept the challenges, to feel the feelings, but at the same time not hold them in or build a wall in front of which they pile up. I just let them pass through. It means accepting what is happening, not denying it, not running away, not closing my eyes, not feeling sorry for myself, not feeling paralyzed, helpless, or unfairly treated. It builds clear self-love and supports a development of observing rather than judging or condemning. When this happens, I don’t get attached to what’s happening while at the same time I am just dealing with it. I no longer take things personally because I don’t identify with what is happening around me.

I told her that, and she said that it would make a lot of sense to her. Then she told me something very interesting. She said that at the end of the treatment, she was led to create a net over me that keeps what belongs to me inside and lets go of what does not belong. This confirms to me that we are both in tune with our souls and a higher guidance

Become permeable and be your own dreamcatcher.

Loved reading your post on Acceptance…. Oh so envy your Singing Bowl Healing … Lol…. I think I may have shared over the years I had a wonderful Gong Bath healing session…. With a dear friend who now lives in Australia … I felt a energetic shift move out of my body…. A block, a weight, a negative dark energy that had kept me weighted down in depression for years…
Vibration, Frequency…. All tools in helping us release that which we no longer need to hang onto.. And you recognised the fact that you were holding on and needed to let it go…
When we all of us begin to understand we are all of us frequency.. All of us are now shedding, that which we are not.. as we align to that which is and always has been part of us… As we accept and resign ourselves that we cannot control God’s plan… that God has this in hand….. all of it… The Good the Bad and the Ugly parts…. All of it designed to show us who we are…

Hold on to that Higher knowingness and that A Higher Guidance is always helping us see our way through..

Lots of love dear Erika… Your profound thoughts always resonate deeply within my own heart.. I have missed being here… But then we are just following the flow and we know ALL is in perfect alignment… Even our absence ….

Much love ❤ ❤ ❤

I find myself completely in your words, Sue. The effect from that vibration is stunning. Whenever I go there (my appts are already made 3 months in advance) it is exactly the right time to let something essential happen. The thought of that dream catcher was in my mind even before I went to that appointment. Her saying she was called to create a net over me was such an amazing confirmation. Yes, we know it all inside already. We just need to let time happen to make us ready.
As you said, dear friend, acceptance is the key to alignment., the key to peace and serenity. The key to healing and liberation. All that is has its purpose to show us something and to guide us. In understanding and observing it lovingly we become soft and transparent. What it me will always be me, everything else will be tools to lead me through this lifetime.
Thank you for your inspiring comment, Sue. I do appreciate it so much. Thank you for taking the time and visited. Much love to you 💖

Ah dear Erika, this moon is certainly bringing out some deep and meaningful things for us to see. Very heartfelt and profound to see such things and recognise it. You must be at a crossroads, a new vibration indeed to see through what went before and become something new. A bit scary, a bit adventurous, and even a bit of acceptance in just what we were to what we want to become. Be that brave soul and take a step, even if its just singing in the rain. Who knows, the book of life may just land at your feet…or you write it 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

I think I have been standing at that crossroads for quite a while, walking both ways forth and back. But your comment made me aware that I might be close to know which way to choose by breaking through another wall of self-limitation. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and thoughts. That went deep and is very encouraging. Thank you, Mark!
