My Little Paradise #1

During the coming summer weeks, I will change my posting routine. I want to take my time to work on my projects and studies peacefully and more focused. Also, I will put enjoying myself and the weather first for charging my batteries and centering myself again. That means I won’t be posting daily but will take the chance to share pictures of my garden occasionally, as well as posting spontaneous when inspiration hits me. I will be back at my regular postings any time in August. But now let me take you to the first stop in my garden.

Except for the patio we remodeled more or less the whole garden. Many plants were growing to big or in ways I did not like it anymore. The only spot that (more or less) stayed the same is the patio.

My patio is my favorite workplace. I have my privacy and a gorgeous view at the same time. As you can see, on the picture above there is a little brook on the right… we are getting there a bit later.

The details:

The brook with two tiny waterfalls is new. We got that done this spring. I love being at the water, hearing its soothing sounds, and feeling the cleansing and energizing effect. I love the result:

The pictures were taken on different days from May through July to show more of the beautiful flowers which were not blossoming at the same time.

I hope you enjoyed the little trip!

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

Hi, Joy! Yes, I agree fully, watching the water and listening to its sound is so energizing as well as soothing, and inspiring. I wish I was closer to the ocean and to the sounds of the waves but this here is a very good alternative… hehe.

Enjoy being you. I so love your house and garden. It just looks like heaven to me. I can so see why the patio is a wonderful workplace and the running water is such a brilliant idea. Thank you for making me smile. Take care my friend and hope it’s filled with smiles. x

I am very happy this made you smile, Gary. It really is a little paradise for me. The closer and the further surrounding in harmony. Very peaceful and soothing. I wanted a water place like this for quite a while. This year the time has come and I am so happy how it worked out!

Thank you sharing your piece of heaven here, it’s so serene. The natural beauty is highlighted so spectacularly. The improvements you’ve done especially the babbling brook is awesome. I too love the sound of water, i could sit there and listen to it for hours🏞

It was a lot of work but it was all worth it. And that little brook and waterfall is the best thing I have ever established in my garden. It is such a gem and brings so much more quality to the time spent out there. I am happy you enjoyed the little visit, Maria 😊

Many said that. It is the Alps which may remind you of it. I have never seen that movie althouh it was filmed and plays in Salzburg (Austria). But barely someone over here knows that movie. That was said at a guided tour when we visited the castle in Salzburg. They said that first and foremost the English and the US know it… lol

I can believe that, Hollywood and all us our American culture of entertainment. I love Julie Andrew’s, the music and of course her name in the movie is Maria so I have to love it😊
I think you would like it, a great story of love and survival in the harshest of times.

Awh, thank you, Beth. It is very inspirational indeed and a true refuge where I can let my soul fly. I love sharing what comes from there and happy when you like it 😊

What a huge garden, Erika. Are you a keen gardener? I love the slide shows you’ve put on this post. I can see why anybody would be inspired to write with those views in front of them. And I agree about the sound of water. Even the sound of rain gives me a calm feeling.

It really is a gem and I am totally aware of it. Yes, I am the one who takes care of it all, which is a tough thing at times when you are working two jobs. But I love it and I love that I decided to dedicate more time to my garden… and that is why it looks like this now… hehe. I am so happy about that little water place. I love how the birds come over at times and take a bath when it is hot. And of course, the sound which was the reason I wanted this. As you said, rain has this effect too and I do like it it a lot too.

If you love something, then keep on doing it, Erika. I think we’ll always find time for the things we love because they are so crucial in making our life an enjoyable experience. Every second is precious, and we should surround ourselves with precious things because they make us happy.

You are so right, Hugh! We spend so much time with the thing we think we had to do and forget to live and to fill us with those things we love. 😊

This is such a beautiful spot you’ve created Ericka, especially the lovely water feature. And those roses are magical 😀
Somehow I think you must have suffered a lot spending so much time with us and not that spot with its beautiful views that go on forever. I feel guilty. I think in payment I should suffer in turn and come over and fan you with a palm frond and get you cool drinks while you study on your patio 😂 🤣

LOL! No worries at all. If ever I can I am working on my patio and can enjoy my garden AND the presence of my blogger friends. That’s what I love, working out there. Btw. way, your offer sounds intriguing 😃

Lol 😂 I think I could suffer that toil with that beauty all around. Or if that is not enough I can finish each day with Remedial Massage Therapy, Bowen Therapy, Reiki, Spiritual Healing or Healing of the Heart. Mind you, everyone falls asleep whichever I do 🤣
At my old practice I would go out of my healing room to wait for them but would have to go back and knock on the door to wake them back up 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋
