During the coming summer weeks, I will change my posting routine. I want to take my time to work on my projects and studies peacefully and more focused. Also, I will put enjoying myself and the weather first for charging my batteries and centering myself again. That means I won’t be posting daily but will take the chance to share pictures of my garden occasionally, as well as posting spontaneous when inspiration hits me. I will be back at my regular postings any time in August. But now let me take you to the first stop in my garden.
Except for the patio we remodeled more or less the whole garden. Many plants were growing to big or in ways I did not like it anymore. The only spot that (more or less) stayed the same is the patio.

My patio is my favorite workplace. I have my privacy and a gorgeous view at the same time. As you can see, on the picture above there is a little brook on the right… we are getting there a bit later.
The details:
The brook with two tiny waterfalls is new. We got that done this spring. I love being at the water, hearing its soothing sounds, and feeling the cleansing and energizing effect. I love the result:
The pictures were taken on different days from May through July to show more of the beautiful flowers which were not blossoming at the same time.
I hope you enjoyed the little trip!

Thank you, Cher! It makes me smile that you like it that much. It is so much more of a joy to share what I love with people who feel so similar by heart. Where have you been to Europe?

Very cool! I loved Scotland. It is so long ago that I was there. It is on my bucket list to go there one day soon again. Where in Austria and Switzerland have you been, Cher?

It’s beautiful in Scotland, isn’t it? Yes, I’d love to go back there too! I was in Vienna, Lucerne, Basel, and the interlaken area. Oh, and near Geneva. 🙂
As for Germany, I have been there twice; primarily the city of Lahr and honestly, I can’t remember the names of some of the other places I visited (in the Black Forest.) 🙂 Gorgeous places!

Gosh, remember me on the garden. There would be work too, but i am not amazed about. Can we say its women work? 😉 OK, sorry! :-)) However enjoy your projects, but find time to rest. Michael

I don’t know if this is women’s work since the gardener who made the brook were more men than women… I would rather say it is part of your passion regardless of the gender… lol!
Although on vacation, it is hard to rest. I am using the time too for checking off my list. So, when I am working on my patio with my laptop it is a rejuvenation kind of work, at least!

What a gorgeous spot, Erika. I love your waterfall. Last year, we got a fountain for our outdoor patio so that we could hear the sound of water. It’s so hot we can’t sit outside until this autumn and winter. I can’t wait. ❤

You are living in a completely different climate than before. But I am sure you like it a lot more anyway. I love the idea of the fountain. And I bet it looks beautiful too!
