Vienna – Danube Park

Our first day was really beautiful and the weather gorgeous! My sister’s new house is located at the edge of the Danube Park. In that park is one of the famous landmarks of Vienna: The Danube Tower

After a long breakfast, we walked through the park and also passed the tower. That tower is the tallest building in Vienna with 252 meters. Here some pics of park and tower:

Here you can see the place of the UNO in Vienna, called the UNO City:20160526_130608

After our walk through the park, we went to a little river which is called the Old Danube. That is a branch of the river Danube which is quieter. There we rented a boat and drove around for a bit:

It has been a lovely day and in 1 1/2 hours, we are having a barbeque at my sister’s 😁

Enjoy the rest of your day!

This is wonderful ☺ Just dress warm!!! In the middle of November the Christmas markets are opening up. Don’t miss to visit at least one and have some punch (also alcohol free available). Let me know if I can help you with insider tips☺
