#PoetryDay – 98

It’s always there

When you feel deep in a dark cloud
Start noticing the hue
What appears, at first sight, is not
Black but maybe blue

Depending on your personal hue
It may be dark green or a dark red
Maybe it is dark purple or
It is a dark orange shade

Whatever it is, be assured
It’s probably not black
Even your grief or desperation
Is part of the rainbow’s palette

Find out what color you can glimpse
See, you just dimmed your light
Now take your time, then turn the switch
And let your true color shine bright

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

We notice what is on the surface quickly and too often get stuck there. But there is always more than only what we see, hear or feel at first sight. Thank you, Keith.

I think we need to relearn that there are always two sides and it is up to us which one we want to follow. It needs a lot of conscious observation at times because it is so easy to fall into negative habits. But nevertheless, there is more than it might appear at first sight 💖
