#PoeticTuesday – 65

The Wind Blows Stronger

The wind blows strong around my ears
The days have gotten colder
Daylight’s making itself scarce
More textiles now, around my shoulder

The world we know begins to change
Not only for the season
It has to handle a big task
To rearrange our reason

We wouldn’t listen
We only talked
We kept the direction
And only walked

Like in the fall
Things will go down
To rejuvenate
And to get calm

A time of silence and reflection
To make our minds wake up
‘Cause still we could make bad things worse
If we don’t finally shut up

Let’s take the insights we have gained
Through history and experience
Let’s finally become respectful
Towards each other and our complete existence

In Love and Light

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

You say it: respect and appreciation is what we need to learn again. Otherwise we have to deal with the consequences which we definitely don’t want. We cannot only take, we also need to give… regarding nature and humanity. Thank you, Jan!

Well written Erika, may we indeed look for that inner balance. Find that pain and learn its why so that we will give out the beauty we have ever looked for. Great verse dear lady, may we change into those perfect seasons so that we can appreciate the love we find ❤️🙏🏽

We need to finally step out of our four walls and see the greater context or everyone’s existence and the connections in this world and beneath. If we don’t finally turn the rudder around, the waterfall has us.
