The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.
Yes indeed dear lady…but someone forgot to turn off the tap. 300mm (12inches), in 48 hours down south. ‘It never rains but it pours’ I think the saying goes. They need a kayak to go buy some milk 🤣❤️🙏🏽
Oh, wow, I do know by experience that this is true in California (as the song says). It seems Australia is now “blessed” too. Hopefully the rain stops soon!
Very safe Erika, thank you. Most went inland and down south. That was the problem, it let go on the flood plains and it has taken ages to drain, it is still flooding communities weeks later as it travels slowly to the sea. Australia in general is a very old, flat land. It has some very big inland lakes when it rains…but very big dust bowls when in drought. Lake Eyre is the biggest and is over 1 million square kilometers for its catchment area so can get a lot of water when a big wet comes over. It’s just that it never rains like this. It must be our turn to become tropical…or buy a kayak just in case 🤣❤️🙏🏽
The ground cannot soak up the water since it is too dry. That was the problem over here too during the very dry summer. First to dry, then too wet in many areas. I hope the situation relaxes soon in Australia🙏
The drought finished about 2 years ago but has rained non stop since. Everything is soaked, dams full, and nothing can absorb anymore so it is flooding everywhere. We’ve had what they call a La Nina weather pattern and it just keeps raining with storms amongst it to really drive it home. They say it will cease by the end of the year, my house boat should be finished by then 🤣
Rainbows never fail to lift the spirit. ❤️

Meanwhile, I heard about the floodings. My God, that is horrible. I hope you are safe?

Oh, I see! Over here we say, “il niño” (the child/boy). I totally know what you mean now! Gosh, I hope the predictions are wrong (in a positive way).

They had a very hot and dry summer. So, I think they are pretty humble now.
