#PoeticTuesday

Have You Ever Lived?

Have you ever really lived?
Have you smelled the flowers in winter
Or recognized the raindrops in a leaf

Have you ever felt the pain?
Of aching lungs after a run
In the pouring freezing rain

Have you ever been in love?
Lost in a sea of passion
Or in the sky, high up above

Have you ever risked it all?
Have you gone for what burns in your heart?
Did you leap in faith whether there was a road or a wall?

Have you ever really lived?
Felt yourself from head to toe
Not out of fear, but full of joy, jumped over the highest cliff

In Love and Light

Well written Erika, that call to be in that moment, touch something only when you let it go ❤️ I have indeed had the privilege to live, a touch of pure bliss in those moment of understanding when it all is let go and we sing from our hearts…like your poem 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Isn’t life everything? The coming and going, the welcoming and leaving, the joy and the pain, the rise and fall. Only together this all makes life complete and lets us evolve in the greatest way. Thank you, Mark 💖

Life is everything, the joy, the pain, the flow, the hurdles, simply feeling oneself in everything they are. I think that is lived fully. thank you very much, Beth 💖
