Have You Ever Lived?
Have you ever really lived?
Have you smelled the flowers in winter
Or recognized the raindrops in a leaf
Have you ever felt the pain?
Of aching lungs after a run
In the pouring freezing rain
Have you ever been in love?
Lost in a sea of passion
Or in the sky, high up above
Have you ever risked it all?
Have you gone for what burns in your heart?
Did you leap in faith whether there was a road or a wall?
Have you ever really lived?
Felt yourself from head to toe
Not out of fear, but full of joy, jumped over the highest cliff
In Love and Light
Loved this Erika ๐

That’s an interesting way to look at it. You are absolutely right, that is what human beings are meant to experience. If we refuse to, we miss the purpose of life.

Wonderful poem, Erika. Life is not only waking up and seeing what the day brings it is also about what we put into the day.

It is experiencing it in all that it brings the good and the not so comfortable things. It is all a life and there to be experienced.

Isn’t life everything? The coming and going, the welcoming and leaving, the joy and the pain, the rise and fall. Only together this all makes life complete and lets us evolve in the greatest way. Thank you, Mark ๐
