The Swiss (and Austrian) Mountains

Just dropping in quickly with a spontaneous post. It is dedicated to our Gary of bereavedsingledad.blog. He is a big fan of Switzerland and I told him about the view I have from my house towards the mountains. (I am living in Liechtenstein which is right in between Austria and Switzerland.) Gary asked me to share some photos. Since the weather is not so good right now, I decided to dig out some winter photos I took some years ago.

The header shows my house, and on the left (west) lies one of the Swiss mountain chains.

View from my patio towards south. This picture was taken in the morning. That’s why it is still a little dark.
This is the view from my patio towards east. This mountain chain is already part of Austria.

Gary, I hope I could give you an idea of the area. What do you think?

That’s lovely of you. All good over here. Since we closed the business center for the coming weeks and only work little at the office, I am actually feeling more free because I have to to focus on the many things of my list. I am very content and relaxed. My family is well… all good.
How are you, Irene?

There was a lot coming together for you (most of all mentally) and it is no surprise that the body reacts or is not so resistant anymore. But I am glad you are getting better. Sending you the biggest hug, Irene 💖

Yes, the place I live is gorgeous and the view spectacular. You don’t appreciate it that much when you are used to it from childhood on but over tje years I recognized that paradise and I am very grateful for it😊💖

I knew you would like it😊 we are on about 470 m above sea level. The mountains around us are up to 2000 and something m above sea level. The highest mountain in Liechtenstein is at 2600 m.

It’s so beautiful! I lived in Germany as I’ve said in the past, I found it very beautiful and very different than my tropical home. It’s a shame I can’t have both 😊🏖❄️❤️
