Two weeks ago I shared a story about the memory function of the heart which Gregg Braden told in a workshop some years ago. While interacting with Judy I mentioned that in a different workshop, he told another extremely touching story which explains that we all have natural healing powers.
Again, I start with the Self. Who we really are and what gives life to our bodies is nothing else than pure divine energy. We are made of the image of the creator as the bible says. That doesn’t mean we look like Him on the outside but that we ARE like Him. We are a piece of Himself. Since all is one He could have only taken a piece of what is. And so each one of us is a spark of that ONE lightful divine energy. Every little crumble of a loaf of bread contains the same composition as the whole loaf. That tiny immortal spark we are holds the divinity of the whole universe. Only the mind limits its abilities. But the potential is always there. We are here on earth to experience a physical life. But we forget that at the same time, we took the powers of the universe along – inside of us.
I could go in various directions from here but I will get back to what the title says. A healer is not a person that has specific abilities or knowledge. They are neither chosen people. The difference is that they don’t let the mind dim the light of their divine spark. Their channel is open and they understand that mind and spirit are not oppositions but a completion to live this life in perfection with all we are and with all we are provided. The art of healing simply is feeling your self and letting it happen. Now I have reached the point where I want to share Gregg Braden’s story about the healing powers we are/have. I found the excerpt of that workshop in Milan during which he told it. I could never write it as impressive as he told it here.
I am convinced that you are feeling it too… You are love, you are light, you are creation and creator, and you have healing powers. Believe in you!

Wow, what a story Sis. I just wished I could see the photo a little better that Greg shared on his talk. What an amazing outcome for those twins. It just goes to show the power we have of healing and it really brings a lump to the throat. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 🙂 💖💖

You say it, it brings a lump to the throat but also opens something big and inside the chest. It seems as if the healing power of that baby washes over us only by hearing the story. It is amazing!

Erika, I love Julia Cameron’s quote! Some folks pray for a miracle, but do not realize that maybe the doctor, lawyer, friend, etc. are the miracle. Or maybe, we don’t realize we have the power to make it happen. As Paul McCartney sang “the movement you need is on your shoulder.” Keith

This is a wonderful quote from Paul McCartney. Indeed, all we need is with(in) us at all times. We only forgot. Thank you for your comment, Keith!

Thanks Erika. I should have said he sang it as it is a song lyric from “Hey Jude.” Still is pretty profound. Take care mein freund. Keith

I started writing the story down but then I thought it was much better to let Braden tell the story himself. It is so touching and even healing. That feeling which comes up is priceless. I am so thankful I could share it. Thank you, Colin.
