The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to all of us that you were meant to be.

Erika, great metaphor. Did you ever see the movie “Wild” with Reese Witherspoon? She played the real life Cheryl Strayed who hiked the Pacific Coast Trail on her own to honor her mother. There is a scene early on where her backpack weights 75 lbs. because the store salesman sold her too much stuff. She comes across an experienced hiker who helps her pare down the backpack in a rather humorous scene. He asked her if she read a paper back book – if she had, he tosses the book. If she read thirty pages, he rips out those pages. Keith

Yes, I watched the movie. Now that you mention the scenes I remember them well. That goes perfectly along with the quote. Thanks for mentioning, Keith!

Right, and sometimes the backpack needs to become really heavy until we realize it is time to let something go again. The great thing is, that one does feel literally light after.

We all carry quite some things along. May we learn to let go, when they don’t serve us anymore. Thank you, Beth 💖

Because my backpack is just my heart these days Erika, the weight of the world is no longer across my shoulders…well, maybe a packet of chocolates in my pocket occasionally 🤣❤️🙏

We are not meant to carry everything along life once gave us to learn from. When we got the lesson, we are meant to let it go. Only then have we enough capacity to tackle new challenges and ways of developing. Thank you, Carol Anne 💖
