In The Driver’s Seat
When I get insecure and lose
The ground beneath my feet
When the horizon turns from blue
To black, a scary wall to meet
When the tornado’s not ahead
But forms its funnel right above
When all I feel is fear and not
The strengthening power of love
It is that time again when I
Have to confess that I forgot
To hold the strings of life in hands
And let it muddle into a knot.
Life’s not a power
That pushes me around
It is a guide
That leads to higher ground
Life’s like a car with GPS
That knows where I’m to go
Still, I’m the driver and decide
How far, how fast, I run the show
In Love and Light

Thank you, sis 💖The path may be curvy and rocky but it is in our hands how we walk it.

If you’re in the driver’s seat, you’re at control of the wheel no matter which direction the road leads. Beautiful analogy, Erika 🌞

Too often we get “pulled” in a direction others want us to go. Yet, we have the steering wheel of our own life.
