… this week was a bit on the crazy side. I worked more hours in my employed job, and there was also more to do in my self-employed job, next to some private stuff that squeezed in. However, I threw everything overboard and enjoyed some hours at Lake Constance (Swiss lakeside) this afternoon. It has been boiling hot and humid today again. So, it was just great to walk a little along the shore, empty the mind, and later enjoy some cool treats. And I needed this break to charge my batteries.
I hope that I am a little more over at your blogs next week, but it looks like I may not be as present, as usual this summer.
But now, some pics of this afternoon at the lake:
Have an awesome weekend!

Erika, I think I need to go put on sunscreen and return to watch the rest. Looks like a delightful time. Keith

It was, Keith! It was so energizing and to know that I have this and other similar destinations in a close range already charges…

It is, Parneet! I thought of renting one of those little bungalows at the campsite we saw. It is only a 45 minute drive from where I live and would make an uncomplicated weekend escape!

Lovely place Erika, it looks like a place to really ‘let go’ and just be. Especially with that mum swan and her cute babies. Mind you, I don’t know if I’ll forgive the tease with that dessert on the table…you aren’t by chance enjoying yourself are you? 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋 😂 🤣

Absolutely! I just said to Keith, that only knowing that I can be there and at other energizing destinations any time, because it is so close, already feels rejuvenating.

This week has just been that kind of energy, Erika. When you make it over to my Friday blog post, you’ll see what I mean. I also had to work lots more hours on my paying job this week and everything else suffered, including visiting blogs. The energy is shifting and will get easier in the next few days. Hugs!

I am so glad you are saying this, Jan. That really helps… and having you saying that things get easier is a big releave. I am not dealing well with stress anymore and I cannot stand to push back the things I love to do for things I HAVE to do… lol Thank you and big hugs back. I will head over to your post after this reply!!
