Stardust And Spirit – Oneness In All That Is

“Humans are made up of more than 90 percent stardust. Most of the body’s atoms and molecules were once formed in stars.”

A few weeks ago, I heard this in a movie, and it intrigued me. As a result, I came across some interesting articles on the Internet, for example, one from the Stuttgarter Nachrichten. Here is a short excerpt:

The specific chemical composition turns stardust into a diamond, stone or plant, bacterium, insect, or a “Homo sapiens”. The cells in our bodies, the oxygen we breathe, the carbon and nitrogen in our tissues, the calcium in our bones – all come from stardust produced many billions of years ago and continues to be generated.

I find it fascinating since, especially in a greater context, it confirms that everything is one. We are many separate individuals but still connected by our composition. A connection, that connects us not only on an energetic or spiritual level but even on a physical level – and both are universal in origin, not only figuratively but also literally. Both, the physical and the spiritual parts in us come from the same source. The laws of the universe determine not only our spiritual development but at the same time and in harmony with each, other and also our physical development. Therefore, the idea that body, mind, and soul are one and thus can influence each other, heal each other, or make each other ill becomes even more comprehensible. It is an amazing thought that neither part of me is in opposition to another part. I am one in myself and we are one with each other – truly drops of one ocean or crumbs of one cake. Oneness has become an advanced meaning to me.

This thesis gives rise to a new thought for me: It is not possible to deny the spiritual, the universal energy, the Creator, etc., and at the same time believe in the origin of the universe, galaxies, and solar systems – or vice versa. You can’t have one without the other. If I believe in science, I may believe in the energy behind it as well, even if I don’t want to admit it. But no matter what we consciously believe in, we look up and are fascinated to be part of this unimaginable big whole.

It doesn’t even matter whether you don’t believe in one or the other, as long as you believe in one of them. The effect is the same: When you feel cut off from life, then look up, and you’ll feel the connection to everything and everyone. And don’t we all do this automatically when we are in a place of gratitude, joy, desperation, or when searching for solutions and answers? The view goes up! What a fantastic organized universe. It picks everyone up, no matter where they stand, and says: You are a part of us. You are not alone.

This all may sound simple and perhaps naive.
But God has never been complicated, we are.
Actually, everything would be so simple.

On a side note: I am not a scientist at all. There are much more mind-blowing scientific details behind this all, of course. I just wanted to share what made me stand in awe that I got a more advanced idea of what oneness could mean.

Erika, great words, but I must confess a chuckle. The first Reddy quote sounded like a line from The Beatles “I am the walrus.” Koo-kook-achoo.

Silliness aside, we are better together than apart, but it does require more effort. Yet, the prize is worth the chase. Take the yin-yang of a solid married couple who lift each other up. Keith

Haha, thanks for your honesty! Who says such subjects need to be dead serious… lol. Life is supposed to be fun!
Doubtlessly, Keith! Everybody has certain skills or abilities which adds quality and progress to the process! The more join in the more qualities can be added! I like your comparison with the couple.

Erika, thanks for letting me add some levity. Of course, John Lennon wrote some powerful lyrics in other songs – to me “Imagine” is one of the finest songs ever written.

This concept of being interdependent is more than just relationship driven. I have written before about the Nobel Laureate in economics named John Nash. You may remember his story was the focus of “A Beautiful Mind” with Russell Crowe playing Nash, who was also a schizophrenic. What won him the Nobel Prize is called the “Nash Equilibrium.” In short, in any business group where common trade is a key part of the process, the profit of the group will be larger if the group focuses more on everyone winning, not just one winning more. This flies directly in the face of zero-sum games where one side must win and the other side must lose.

Note FDR had a quote that applies to this well before Nash came up with it – we do well when we all do well.

That’s the point! One target, and everybody gives what they can do to reach it. I remember the movie and I like that you are mentioning it here. It explains everything so well. And I mean, the soon past president proves too that if one is focused on winning while at the same time being focused that others lose. In the end, all lose!
Congrats on the new dawning tomorrow, Keith!

Erika, thanks. I did my best not to mention the outgoing president. But, this is a key reason he likes bilateral agreements than multilateral ones. He wants to win and the other lose. He pulled the US out of the Trans Pacific Partnership in his first week of office. That agreement was designed to compete better with China, so the remaining ten countries went on without the US. He is just such an example, you cannot overlook it. I know that the realationship with your former partner countries well be renewed since there is a person to trust and rely on again on top of the nation.

I think I can feel which way it reached you because when I reading your comment it gave me goosebumps. The origin, our current appearance, and all that is… never searated, always one!

Although I always thought that you cannot explain the creation with logic, I have to agree. It appeared so logic to me, all of a sudden. That’s what I love about Gregg Braden. He is able to explain the mysteries of the universe with scientific proofs. That’s what sticks even stronger with you! Still, the mind has a lot of power over us. Once we convince it, it opens up to more mysteries! Thank you, Annette!

Yes, absolutely, Jan. Such key moments when you think you understand a tiny little bit more which actually opens even more fields that generate more questions… haha. But it also gives you those stunning insights that there is so much might in the creation and so much more behind the little things we consider to know.

We were all created individually but we all come from a lineage ancestry and that dates back to the first man Adam and we are all a part of the overall creation which is life and that is the heavens, earth , galaxies and universe. A stunning and breathtaking thought. Thank you for this wonderful post and your insightful thoughts. Have an inspiring week ahead ✨

I was amazed once connected the ideas of the combined origin spiritual as physical. All one… that is still amazing me. Oneness has become an even deeper meaning to me. Thank you very much and you too, Sylvester!

Think of our humanly connection, then our connection to nature and natures connection with the universe. We are one huge creation. You’re very welcome and will do!

The synchronicity of your post with my recent one is pure soul connection. We are all interconnected and separateness is an illusion. The only truth is love to be lived in the moment by each of us. When I read your writing, I hear echoes of my own soul. It’s so incredibly beautiful. That’s why I say Namaste my dear, to you🙏💗🌠 keep shining like the bright diamond you are!! Spreading light, love and inspiring hope for the evolution of humanity’s rise✨🤗

I so loved the even stronger understanding of oneness or what oneness could mean. It is amazing! I cannot imagine that the mind willever be able to get creation. We can only grasp when we step over the mind. It is mind-blowing… literally!
Thank you for your wonderful comment, Maria. What a synchronicity indeed! Much love to you, dear friend!

I am always fascinated by the questions (depending one one’s belief):
If God made us … who made God?
If a vastly superior species was our origin … who made them?
If we were born from an explosive mixture of gases … who made the gases?
If the gases were created naturally … naturally from what, and where did the “what” come from?

Whenever we dwell on our origin(s), it always comes back to a belief. For some reason, people I have known who believe in the scientific theory of our origin, do not accept that their position is a belief … and yet their “facts” are basically a belief. We’re a very unusual species aren’t we!!!! 🙂

Haha, yes, indeed, Colin! I love how you went on and on with those questions. Where do we come from – in all that we are? That reminds me so much of when I was a child and bothered my mom to explain, what was behind the earth (the sky), what’s behind the sky (space), what’s space and what’s behind that. And now I remember too that I asked what or who made us. And I think I even asked, who made God. I could not accept when she said, that no one made God, God has always been. I asked what was before God… and on and on… lol

That one little raindrop is perfection in itself…now if I could just stop sweating my drops I’ll be fine 😂 🤣
Mind you, there is much to be seen in them too. See their opposite and an understanding will bloom within, ignore them and we will keep trying to walk leading with one foot.
Great post dear lady. You didn’t just happen to be looking into that snow and had one of those incredible ‘moments’ and saw in a drop what was the magic of the universe did you? 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

Maybe you managed to convey this with one single sentence. Yes, maybe me standing in awe is feeling and seeing the univers in a single drop or snowflake… You put that so well, Mark!
