#MomentsOfJoy

I think all of us make good use of some distractions. Why not sharing something funny, uplifting or beautiful? It can be a joke, a picture with a beautiful view, a song, a video, a story or whatever comes to your mind. It only needs to be positive with only positive words for creating positive feelings in everyone who visits.

Last week I shared a photo of the waterfall in Glenpark, Williamsville, NY. In 1998/99, we lived in Williamsville which is a part of the suburbs of Buffalo, NY. It is close to the famous Niagara Falls which I visited numberless times during our stay and, of course, later whenever we returned to the area. Today, I am sharing photos of the beautiful and impressive falls. Enjoy!

Horseshoe Falls

Looking at these pictures, I cannot wait to return as soon as possible.

Such a joyful share that jogged my own memory as my hubby and I went to Niagara Falls for part of our 25th Wedding anniversary in 2000, along with a super trip coast to coast in Canada.. Your images invoked my own memories of being on the maid of the mist.. and a beautiful firework display in the evening.. And how the floodlights in different colours lit up the falls.. Thank you for your uplifting post Erika…
Love and Blessings… Hope you are well and keeping well my friend ❤

I am happy that I could provoke such wonderful memories in you, Sue. Ah, yes, the flood lights. We went to the Festival of Lights with our little daughter when we lived there. The whole illumination of the falls but also the state park was gorgeous! Your words trigger more feelings of homesickness. I really feel the need to go there again.
Thank you for your inspiring comment. That alone are moments of joy 💖

Oh, you did? Only two years apart and so close. Yes, we did due to my husband’s company which sent him to the headquarter for a special task. It was such a wonderful time. We got there with our little daughter and left with an additional boy 😊

We are on the same parallel now as Rochester/Buffalo and are at the edge of the lake so we still get lots of winter here too!

Ohhhhhhhh ….. How I LOVE this pictures, Erika! I would LOVE to return to Niagara Falls but my life right now is so time constrained. Just imagine how childlike I will be when I can finally get there. Oh for the JOY and the experience of such a powerful place on this Earth!! Thank you for sharing!! xo

Haha, I think you would be the same way I would be once I can be there again. Also, because it is anything but around the corner for me. Since I went for this post there is a deep longing to get there again. Perhaps one day we’ll even meet there 😊💖

Do you by any chance know Resa who also is a WP blogger from Toronto, Erika? If you do it would be awesome if some day the three of us could meet at a destined place in Niagara Falls. Right now my time is so tied up it is not funny. Oh how I dream of going places I just am not able to right now. And when I do, OH how I will cherish every moment. SMILING!! xo

No, I don’t but that would be awesome anyway. I like the Canadian side of the falls a lot. Whenever we were visiting we drove down Niagara river on the Canadian side up to Niagara on the lake. A gorgeous ride and place!
Meeting you has gotten on a new level. Really looking forward to making it. I promise, once I am visiting the area again I will let you know 💖
