Yes, that thesis fits the quote well. And many people even try to refuse to extend their knowledge, believing they already know it all. So, their perspective might develop very slowly.

Erika, there is a truism, the smarter the person, the more they realize how much they still don’t know. Some US presidential candidate famously said he knows more about taxes than anyone, maybe in the history of taxes. The same person has been adjudicated as a tax fraud three times in the last five years. Apparently, he knows enough to cheat. Keith
