“You’ve Got Me All Wrong” – There is no such thing as right or wrong

Unbenannt

Last week I shared my first thoughts about God’s message to the world, forwarded through Neale Donald Walsch’s books. I was so inspired by the 25 key messages as an explanation of the core message in the title that I stopped reading and started writing. I want to share the flow of pictures and thoughts that immediately filled me. I won’t go through all the 25 key points Walsch listed because some of them are constantly part of our discussions here. This proves that we all already hold THE truth in our hearts. In order to complete the big picture, we only need to listen to God and trust that what we feel as a message IS His message.

“There is no such thing as right or wrong.”

This world of opposition seems to teach us that some things are right and some things are wrong. This happens due to our own experiences, to the way we are raised, to cultural and religious traditions, to the influence of media, … a lot of aspects! But instead of seeing them as rules, we should see them as suggestions.

We are all individual beings with individual abilities, dreams, skills, and motivation. We are all in different life situations and circumstances. It may be that some of those suggestions fit for thousands or millions of our brothers and sisters. And some only fit a few or even none. Not even those who share those “suggestions”. Some are only forwarded dogmas which we take as a law and don’t even question it although our inner self is more than uncomfortable with it.

Right or wrong is a completely subjective perception. Understanding that helps to develop a deep tolerance and acceptance for other people’s decisions and – perhaps even more importantly – for our own. You may be put under pressure when you start following your own truth because those who successfully controlled you by now are not happy that you don’t agree with their laws and truth anymore. But that is not your problem AND they are basically not wrong anyway. If it feels true for them, then it is ok. If it doesn’t feel true for you, then it is ok. The process of awareness starts when we understand that.

Right or wrong is not written in stone. Those are individual experiences due to the above-mentioned unique being everybody is. Actually, we could substitute the word “right” for “it works for me” and the word “wrong” for “it doesn’t work for me”. Right or wrong is a process of our own progress. What was wrong years ago, can be right today. But that doesn’t mean it was wrong back then only because today we have a different perception of it. The way we look at things represents our own state of awareness and whatever we think or act from that state is exactly the place we are meant to be to make those steps to get we are meant to arrive.

The better we can follow our own truth and only accept those “suggestions” from outside that feel right for us we will forward. That way we won’t see “setbacks” as negative but as part of our personal evolution.

“There is no such thing as Right or Wrong, there is only What Works and
What Does not Work, given what it is you are trying to do.”

The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to us all that you were meant to be.

So pleased I scrolled all the way back to catch your wisdom along with NDW… Like you Erika, I have read his Conversation with God volumes.. and it opens up a whole new perspective in our thinking.. It brings a new awareness into the judgements we continually dish out.. And you have to learn acceptance in understanding our experience in human form from the perspective of universal laws.. Not our man-made ones..
Like we can not experience Good with out us experiencing the bad.. That there is no right or wrong is all a matter of our awareness of what is right or wrong. All paths lead us home.. It is not until we see from a different perspective our ideology of what we have interpreted as God, we begin to see life, its lessons and karma in a whole new way..
Excellent writing dearest Erika..

Yes, exactly! There is no right or wrong. There are only actions and reactions, cause and consequence. And this all happens for us to learn and develop. Not more not less. It is us who always feel the need to judge everything and label it as good or bad. At times it is difficult to accept this but even the worst happenings are like this. Also God said there are no victims and no offenders which means the same, in the end. A huge topic!
Thank you so much, dear Sue. I am very happy when I can share such deep inspiration 💖

Yes, some people are blind and deaf when it comes to different opinions or points of view. I am happy you think this could explain that right or wrong is a matter of the perspective in most cases. Thank you very much, Colin 😊

[…] A few weeks ago I picked up one of Walsch’s books and began to read the first pages. After I read the short list of the 25 core messages to explain the main message (in the title) I stopped reading. It was so inspiring and I my mind started spinning. Before I am reading on I want to share the flow of pictures and thoughts of some of those core messages which immediately filled me. If you would like to read the first two parts, you can check out here part 1 and part 2. […]
