I am happy to share your statement. It holds so much depth and shines a light on an aspect that many overlook. Also, it is a clear hint what to consider as the hurdle to get back to your inner self.

This stopped me completely.
Because we spend so much energy protecting the version of ourselves that was never really us to begin with. The one built from old wounds dressed up as strength. From pride that was really just fear of being seen as not enough. We defend it so fiercely because dismantling it feels like losing. But Sanjo said it perfectly that is not where the light gets blocked. That is exactly where it was always waiting to enter.
The moment you stop guarding the constructed self, something real gets to breathe.
Thank you for sharing this. It landed exactly where it needed to.

It is fantastic how he defined it. It says perfectly what the actual problem is that keeps us from seeing and being ourselves. Thanks for your thoughts. They add even more depth to Sanjo’s quote!

Indeed Sanjo, very well said. After we understand our fear there is no longer any need to defend, so we finally truly open and those walls crumble away. They no longer have anything to hold. Great post and share Erika, thank you 🤗❤️🙏
