The purpose of my blog is to inspire and shine a light on the beauty and power of the wonderful being inside your body. You came into this world to share what only you can give. Remember who you really are, conquer the world the way you always wanted to, and become the blessing to all of us that you were meant to be.

Erika, oh have you hit me on a good week with this one. We had relative stay a few days with us who is notorious for inventing reasons why not to do certain things. He routinely finds reasons why this or that job does not suit him. It is quite frustrating as he usually does this after seeking help. My sons were over and we shared some thoughts, but heard the above spiel. I later told him if you don’t have a job, your job is getting a job. Both of my sons work hard to get jobs. Keith

Oh, well! I hear you. Excuses like that show that the person does not take that task ( to find a job) serious in my opinion. The must find one but don’t want and put themselves in the role of the victim. You must be even prouder of your sonst after those days with your friends!

Thank you, Colin. You are speaking from my heart. It is what I feel when I hear people complaining but not changing anything. I could come to a boil when they come up with cheap excuses, why they can’t. Change is uncomfortable until it’s done. But nothing changes, when nothing is done.

I complained and complained…until I dared to understand my fear. And the change was astronomical, everything changed inside and out. Shoot, I even laugh at a flat tire knowing I’m about to have an adventure 🤣 Great post Erika, beyond that fear is something wonderful 🤗❤️🙏

Complaining never changed anything, except you may chase away people around you because they cannot hear your complaints anymore… lol. But I agree, for what reason ever, it took me a while until I understood that I CAN change and can change circumstances. After I realized it, I was shocked by how long I was caught in a misunderstanding. I thought, I was not allowed to change before others do… terrible! But what a breakthrough to reveal that misunderstanding. Thank you very much, Mark! Your comments always make me think in more directions.
