Not only is this true but unfortunately, we all got to face the problems by talking things out, calmly.

Thank you, Charly. That’s a good point! Over here we say: the sound makes the music. It depends on how you convey a hint, a solution or whatever you think could solve a problem.
But the even harder step (and that is what I tried to share) is to be true to oneself: realize that there is something to be solved inside one and then have the courage to face the issue.

You welcome, Erika.
Being true to oneself takes patience and virtue.
You have excellent points.

Erika, this is good, but I would encourage people to pick their battles. Sometimes, the best retort to a loved one is the one left unsaid. Plus, there is an old saying that you should never argue with a street preacher – the same goes for a zealous blogger or emailer. It is often better to not rebut and just let it go. This won’t win an argument, but will let you not waste your time. Keith

Absolutely, then it is not just ignoring but a conscious decision to NOT react because of good reasons. Thank you, Keith!

I like the way you phrased it better. “Conscious decision to NOT react.” Keith

Thank you, Keith. I think our conscious decisions make the difference in how we experience life and its consequences on our actions and reactions.

Communications is the key, even if it is as Keith said, a silent comment. But two things happen…we understand better, and we test ourselves in that understanding. Both lead us to go beyond those many conditions we place on ourselves and others. And closer to that unconditional love…which holds nothing…we just become it when we finally reach that understanding of it. Great post Erika, may this journey guide us truly 🤗❤️🙏

That’s true, it is about facing life consciously, observing it, and ourselves and about building awareness which makes us see that we are not the conflicts around us. In this healthy distance of seeing them as part of our growth but not part of who we are, we become unconditional and (maybe one day) even thankful for this tool of development. Thank you very much, Mark 💖
