Erika, I guess surviving to talk about those visible and invisible scars reveals a healing aspect. I agree with this premise in part, but we should never forget our failures to avoid repeating them. Keith

Someone said: A lesson learned and not applied is not a lesson learned. Yes, we need to be aware of our experiences and remember when we get another chance to react differently. That wisdom inside of us might be part of that healing power in ourselves.
