The genders of the lovers are irrelevant in the equation. The key is to make each other better.

Isn’t that what we should see as love’s purpose? And I don’t exclude the “bad” sides that can happen too. Whatever face love shows will be the one that makes us better.
But I see what you mean, and I agree. That is what we need to recognize in a person to enjoy the “good” sides.

Thanks for your inspiring comment, Beth 💖I believe, it can only have constructive force. Sometimes it may look diminishing but from there comes growth that only started because of that kind of love. Love is THE power of development. And in the end, there is only love anyway, with all its faces to lead us where we are supposed to arrive.
