Erika, well said. I have shared this before, but if you want your children to hear you, whisper. As for darkness, owls and bats can see better than us in the dark. Plus, candlelight is far more romantic than daylight. Keith

You are always coming up with wonderfully supporting examples. Regarding candlelight – I used this comparison in my book “I’m Free”: you cannot really recognize or treasure a lit candle at noon on a sunny summer day. It is different during the dark night ours. And so we need to be surrounded by darkness at times to recognize the light we are. Thank you for reminding me of that, Keith!

Silence definitely makes us hear what we normally would miss. And Darkness can wrap around us like a comforting velvet wrap. And in darkness, we find light.
