Journey To Strength
Who am I and who
Am I supposed to be?
Is my life going right
Or is there something I don’t see?
Not understanding others
Can be frustrating indeed
Not understanding yourself
Can lead to fearful agony
But be assured that at that point
Where you feel so confused
You reached the endzone of the old
And enter something new
Dare taking steps into a field
You dreamed of exploring
The fear will pass but turn into
New confidence that’s roaring
You are where you’re supposed to be
To go where you belong
Follow the call, take steps in faith
It won’t break you, but makes you strong
In Love and Light

Erika, well laid out. There is a great book along these lines called “Half-time.” The premise is what will you do the second half of your life. Thanks, Keith

Right, Keith. I think, once we come closer to the estimated second half of our lives we begin to think and reflect. That is when many turn their lives upside down, leave old habits, jobs, routines, attitudes,… and turn into someone new who does not want to regret to look back one day.

Erika, the friend who told me about “Halftime” sold his company and started working as an Executive Director for a homeless services agency. Keith

That’s awesome and a great example of implementing this “sense”. Thanks for sharing this information, Keith.

Beautiful and well said Erika. Just that taking a step is ever creating something new, ever reaching that inner understanding. Great post kind lady 🤗❤️🙏

If we dare taking steps, we more likely reach this inner understanding much faster… but right that often frightens us. We know there is something we don’t know (anymore) about us but instead of following the call, we back off in fear – until it is the only way left to take.
Thank you, Mark 🙏

Well said Erika, that sums it up nicely. And it may sound like it is poked at us, and I think it is…and our inner selves encouraging us to dare those steps 🤗❤️🙏

I like that term, “steps of faith.” Isn’t that what we do daily? Love this poem!

You are right, I think we do. Sometimes naturally and sometimes we need to remind ourselvs to let faith direct us to take another leap.
Thank you so much, Jan, I am happy to hear you like it 💖
