Stop The Bully
You cannot solve
Another person’s problem
Although you would love to
Burn it for them
You feel their pain
See their agony and stress
But you can only
encourage them not to repress
Sometimes it is
The hardest lesson to learn
That they themselves
Have to go for what they earn
To see their resistance
Yet how they know
It’s up to them
to stand up and go
Sometimes it’s not
‘Bout hierarchy and salary
Not ’bout gender but
Respect and humanity
This is what others
Need to hear quite clearly
The small stands up
and finally speaks plainly
Not fear must be
The driving force
It is your dignity
That sets the course
No matter what’s after
Don’t be the punching ball
Maybe it’s about your past self
For whom you now get a chance to stand tall
Free yourself
From the curse of the past
And see how it changes
The present quite fast

Ah, the ego. And for a bully it is a road so wide, and they use it all. All the employees need to walk out the door Erika, and stay there until something is done. There is nothing like working under a stress like that.
Great poem my friend, I hope your words pays them a visit to see what their actions do to others 😀❤️🙏

I agree completely, Mark! This must not be tolerated and the employees needed to stick together, affected or not!
I don’t think those who are concerned read my blog. But hopefully, it finds some others. Thank you, Mark 💖

Yes, that’s all it needs. And no one needs to be afraid to speak up, not even when it is a superior. It is about respect not power.

Maybe because it got inspired by my daughter’s current situation at work. I don’t understand how people in suchhigh positions need to bully a young woman… and everyone around is too afraid to speak up too!

Certainly they are abusing their authority and position and others are afraid of repercussions of speaking up. That is a shame people are like that.

I hope she stands her ground and believes in herself and I hope it’s not affecting her health wise.

Yes, that is what I am concerned about too, She already had to deal with a bully when she was 11. History repeats and maybe it is time for her to stand up for herself now. Because this time, mom cannot solve the problem.

I hope it all works out in her favor and hopefully a coworker will step up with some support.
