The Big Achievement
The most important thing to be
Is not a house or a big car
It’s not a bursting bank account
Or expensive clothes to wear
The most important thing to be
Many may think it’s health
But even that is not the greatest
We can have as wealth
Of course, you’re lucky if you can
Be part of a loving family
But it is not the highest good
There’s something that counts more
What means family, health, or wealth?
It can be such a fleeting bliss
The most important thing to be
Is being happy – what’s then to miss?

I fully agree, Erika! But you honestly need some time of living on earth getting these experiences. Isn’t it? 🙂 xx Michael

I agree! Although, there are people who already carry it in them and that is why you cannot bring them down, no matter what happens. And others need a life-time to find it out!

Being happy is rather fun, much better than being angry. Wonder why so many people are angry.

You nailed it, Gary! And being angry makes the body use more muscles too. So, being angry is exahausting on my levels…

When we think about it, all we need to feel is happiness… everything else, does not count anymore but becomes positively influenced 💖

Happiness is the only thing we need. If we are happy, there is nothing we miss. So, let’s simply decide to be happy 🙂🙃🙂

Erika, such a beautiful and wise poem! Yes! We won’t be remembered by what we own or what we did (perhaps) but how we made others FEEL. You always make us feel loved—you ooze with love, light, and happiness. Your words come from that place—and I love you and appreciate you so much! 💛

I don’t know how you do this, but you have a way to touch people’s hearts. It is not alone what you say, but what flows along with what you say. I am happy when something of what I want to share as my love and joy flows over to you and others. Thank you for letting this joy flow back to me through your loving heart, Karla.
💖Thank you so much and I send you the biggest and heartfelt hug, my dear friend 💖

Erika, you are so kind, thoughtful, and LOVING, dear friend. I went to Roots Coffee this morning and met a friend and I spoke of you (in all great ways!!!) :-). I’m so happy you FEEL what flows from my heart. I feel that river flowing out of you and it helps carry me, too. I do feel the hug—thank you so much. Your loving heart and sincerity is so comforting. I’ll be visiting my youngest son and his family this weekend, I may be “out of commission” for good reasons. Please enjoy your weekend and keep loving life and others as you do! 💕🙏💛

I’m so glad you feel that way, sweet friend. It’s my blessing. I made it safe and am enjoying every moment! It’s very cold here, but I think warmer weather coming in the next few days. I pray you have an amazing weekend, dear friend. Much love ❤️ 💕🥰💌

Erika, it’s my blessing. My friend, what a time it was. Oh my heart (and my body is worn out, lol). Tomorrow I’ll have my HUGE scan (the PET that is specific to this cancer), I’ll read to a class on Thursday, and off for a weekend at my former little home before my two treatments next week. I want to LIVE each day the best possible, dear friend, knowing that future days might keep me down a bit. If I’m absent here, you’ll know why. I’m sending love and prayers daily, dear friend. I hope you’re having an amazing week. ❤️❤️❤️

Also in your lovely reply you prove that you fill your years with life… and not the other way around which, in my opinion, is what counts. It is wonderful that you read to a class can have another weekend at a place you feel home. I send you the best of thoughts, the brightest light, and the most loving wishes that the scan turns out to your favor, and the treatments will exceed the highest expectations 💖💖💖Thank you for your loving presence, dear Carla 💖💖💖

It’s my blessing to be here–I feel your love and warmth in your words, dear friend. Abraham Lincoln (my favorite U.S. President) stated, “It’s not the years in the life, but the life in the years.” (It hangs in my entryway) I sure do want to keep living–and your light,…it’s felt and appreciated so much!!! ❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕💛💛💛
