I had to think long and hard about the deep meaning of this one, and it is an ‘in-your-face’ truth! Brilliant, Erika!

Exactly, Jan! If you are trying to explain yourself to others, you do it because you seek their approval, acceptance, goodwill, love, or whatever. But that way you fall into a dependency because it is like selling your soul.

You shouldn’t have to explain, just be you. Nice poem, Erika.

No explanation is necessary. Those who want one don’t deserve it. Those who deserve it, don’t want it.
