Love is Free

A cold and grey November day
The sun decides do hide
I’m looking out the window while
My heart goes on a ride  

It’s breaking through the wall of clouds
Enjoys rays of the sun
It soars above a cotton sea
With anticipation and fun

It knows that there’s another heart
That feels the need to fly
A silent bond that makes them meet
Under the clear blue sky

A freedom no one can restrict
Love’s where the lovers are
Where there is love, there’s warmth and light
There is no near nor far
