In addition to my Monday post, I would like to continue with thoughts of happiness. It is so important to understand that happiness is not something that is given or granted to us. Happiness is a decision, and yes, a state of mind. If I can choose to be unhappy, then I can also choose to be happy. Regardless of the situation, there is always something nearby that lifts the heart… simply dare to open your heart to it!

If we cboose to see gloom and doom then that’s exactly what we will get. As you said, we can choose to be happy and it’s not that we are being naive, we are keeping ourselves open to a higher perspective.

Exactly! Not naive at all. When we choose to be happy, it is the decision for this kind of energy to live in with all its consequences.

Lately, I’ve been leaning into appreciation for the painful experiences and telling God thank you. Gifting me the perspective of both has been the most tremendous lesson in faith and hope, the two values that drive my life. Perspective is everything. Walking in the shadows gives us a true understanding of the brilliance there is always awaiting us to dance in the light of the Divine 🌠💃🎆❤😊🙏

Through the painful times we learn that how we experience those times is defined by how we look at it. That’s why I am thankful too for those hard lessons that led me to higher awareness. Thank you, Maria😊

Oh, I hope it has stopped meanwhile. We had such lovely weather today… which I could only enjoy for a few minutes since I spent the day learning…

Erika, great quote. We have discussed several times about being our own self-fulfilling prophets when we get out of bed. Are we going to wear our “Eeyore” clothes or our ‘Tigger” clothes? Tigger looked for the zest in life, whereas Eeyore looked for doom. Keith

Ah, what a great example, Keithe! Yes, totally! Like Wayne Dyer said: You can either say “Good God, morning” or ” Good morning, God”! Our first thoughts are very likely defining how the day may be going. Thank you, Keith!

Erika, quoting Wayne Dyer is more impactful, but not as fun as Pooh’s friends. Keith

And then I understood, it was only me that held me in all that I saw, felt and heard…and me to how my heart chose to respond. And in appreciation of those struggles a smile did arrive to break me free…inside and out ❤️
Lovely post dear lady, may your smiles arrive be it sunshine or rain 😀 ❤️ 🙏🏽 🦋

That insight is the most essential breakthrough. From that moment on there is no blaming others, no excuse but only taking responsibility for the deeds, and taking steps on those roads we always wanted to walk!
Thank you for the smiles, they arrived savely and multiple!! 😁😊💖
