A Single Moment
A fireball, a shooting star
Tsunami of emotions
A crumbling wall, a clearing view
Deep feelings of devotion
All of a sudden, all seems clear
Illuminated mind
Something that has been always there
But we just couldnβt see
Two hearts made an agreement long
Before their owners met
Although they did not know a thing
The hearts knew how to act
Sophisticated strategy
For us like twists and turns
But our hearts kept up the path
And led us through our yearns
A moment explained everything
Scales falling from our eyes
A look, all said, no questions left
Our hearts have merged, now rise
In Love, Light, and Health
It’s wonderful when those scales fall from our eyes.. Beautiful poem Erika.. Enjoy Every Single Moment!!!! β€

Erika, the song lyric, “just one look…” popped into my head. Two folks see each other and their hearts go a flutter long before the introduction. Keith

It is most romantic when this happens. I have to check out that song. Thanks for mentioning, Keith π

Very true. Often it affects the ability to speak clearly. Check out Linda Ronstadt and “Just one look.” There are other versions, but she brings an extra flair to it.

Listening to it right now. That really goes along so well with the poem. I like Linda Ronstadt a lot. So, thanks for sharing this title π

Those heart agreements cannot be broken, only fulfilled. Ultra romantic.. reminds me of the movie “The Lake House”.

Yes, I’ve had one of those. That ‘instant’ when you first meet…you just know it is something beyond you both…and the most painful thing I have ever experienced.
But that very thing broke me free in its understanding. It was that profound that I still love her totally, and more so because of it. What she gave me was a gift, the key to find my ‘unconditional’ and I can now understand the beauty from where it came. The beauty that is there for us all π β€οΈ ππ½ π¦

Danke, lieber Klaus. Ja, bei uns hat es in letzter Zeit wieder ΓΆfters geregnet. Wir hatten davor schon Feuerverbote wg. der massiven Waldbrandgefahr.
