I just got to know that Dr. Wayne W. Dyer died on August 29. The cause of his death seems unclear.
Wayne Dyer’s book Your Sacred Self brought me to a turning point in my life. It gave me the necessary puzzle pieces and encouragement to step up and change my life. That book and joining my first lecture of his in 2009 were very much responsible for my big breakthrough shortly after. I was lucky that I saw Wayne Dyer 3 times on stage. The last time was last year in October at the I Can Do it convention in Pasadena where I was honored to also have a book signing for my book I’m Free. During that lecture, he spoke for three hours without a break and it was never a single dull moment.
Wayne W. Dyer was an amazing speaker and known as the Father of Motivation. He inspired thousands of people to change their lives for the better.
I conclude this post with one of his quotes: Never die with your music still in you. I am sure he sang his song every single day. I am thankful we had him and I am thankful for everything he left us.
Rest In Peace

Thank you, Rob, that is very nice of you. I owe him a lot. But that is what makes me happy for him. He gave his life meaning and shared it. He left us someting that will help people over and over again. And I hope that what I learned from him can live on a little too through what I do.

He was such an important part of my breakthrough process. When I saw him the first time at a lecture I also bought a book and had signed it by him personally. It is of such value now. Only opening his books already spreads peace and encouragement.

Erika, you are so right. He was a great, father figure to many. I quote a line he used with his kids. When they gossiped about a friend, he started defending the friend. When they complained, he said his role is “to defend the absent.” He reminded them they would not want anyone talking about them, would they? All the best, BTG
