Erika, well said about the trigger. In Charles Duhigg’s book called “Habit,” he notes identifying the trigger is key. Only then, can you replace the bad habit with a better one. As I shared in my post, I also learned a mantra from a friend – I am not going to drink today. Focusing on today, then waking up and doing it again is the way forward. Thanks again, Keith

Yes, I think that is the really important core advice: Take it day by day. Otherwise it is too overwhelming and people have more likely a setback since they cannot take the challenge.
