Fear paralyzes, so get rid of fear! Best wishes, Michael

That’s the point! Find a way to go beyond fear and see what it really is – a construct of subjective thoughts.

Erika, this is a nice sentiment, but sadly fear will never go away as we are all so human. The best we can do is manage our fear through preparation. You are a marvelous singer, but any fear of failure was likely overcome by preparation, practice, relaxation, breathing, et al. Gary Player, the famous South African golfer said to a reporter after he was asked about a lucky shot, “I find the more I practice, the luckier I get.”
I apologize for belaboring this, but I don’t want folks who fear something thinking they are unusual. My thesis is to “understand fear so you can do something about it.” Keith

You are absolutely right, and singing is a good example. If you are anxious you cannot unfold the potential you have inside plus you may likely may mistakes because you are blocked.
As you said, when we feel fear then we need to do something about it. We need to look at it from all angles. Because it keeps us from unfolding our potential and blocks it. That is why life feels completely different and new when you unmask a fear and see that it was only an invetion of your thoughts. That discvoery caused my greatest personal breakthrough that led to everything I am and have achieved by today!

Erika, well said. One of my favorite lessons is Bill Russell, as a basketball center, was on pro teams that won 11 championships, a college team that won 2 championships, and an Olympic Gold medal team. Before each important game, Russell could be heard throwing up in the locker room restroom because of nerves. His teammates knew they were going to win as if Russell was throwing up, he cared about winning. Russell is arguably the best team basketball player ever. Keith

That’s exactly the point: Being nervous means someone takes it seriously what they do. And that is the crucial point. Thanks for this example, Keith.

It’s a shame about every moment we waste through fear in which we could have achieved great things 💖
