Erika, I must confess I don’t like the phrase “listen to our fears” preferring “face our fears.” To me, listen means acquiescence. I do think we must face and overcome them. Keith

Thank you, Keith. I see what you mean. In this context, “listen to our fears” is the step before we face them. Because realizing what they could tell us can be the motivator to face them.

Oh, that is amazing and exactly what we need. We tend to back off and try to avoid looking at the object that scares us. However, it won’t help in the end yet, facing it often shows that there has never been something to be scared of… but I totally see your point, Gail, I have to push myself to keep breaking those walls..

We must remember that our fear is made from a child’s understanding, hence the blocking that a child does when they don’t want to hear something.

But the most amazing part is…we take that fear on into adulthood, not realizing that it is a child’s understandable lack of experience and emotional wisdom to see through what it is and how it was built. And why we hold the power of its fear and its emotional pain, and how that makes us feel, that we take with us. Ever building it as we grow. That child does not ever want to feel that pain ever again, hence the power of that wall.

And why we have to go back and stand in our childhood shoes and ‘feel and understand’ that moment we seek when we shut that wall down to block that pain. In there is our freedom 🤗❤️🙏

When we take this all over as a child, after a while we believe it belongs to us and we have to accept that “fact”. Until we wake up through several happenings, signposts, experiences, that this may have been only a big misunderstanding. Oh, and what a liberation the moment of this realization is 💖

Well said Erika. It may be a long journey with many signposts but it is truly giving us something very beautiful. In the beginning, no. But slowly its wisdom gives us a sign, then another, and another, until we reach something that allows us to see it all and understand. As you ever share kind lady 🤗❤️🙏

Many, many years of turning away, simply because we don’t understand it. But eventually when we’ve been through years of so much we reach that point where we are broken, damaged and had enough. Only then, cornered, exhausted and so fearful…do we dare to go and face it, and ask our hearts the truth.

And it may take a few nudges, but in there way back in our childhood is a moment in time where we see a hint of an answer so we poke it some more…until finally we break through and see its truth…our truth. No longer through that protective shield we built, those layers of ‘coping’ to help us, but finally realizing they are built on half truths and fuzziness.

And in that moment a truth is born. The real one we had hidden for so long…and sets us free 🤗❤️🙏

Wonderfully said, Mark! That’s so true, we might only be ready when we are to tired to withstand. Then we dare to look closer and end this lifelong bother for good 💖

Fears purpose is indeed for us to understand it. We made it, and in doing so blocking our love. But always we seek that love and happiness, ever calling us from within, ever then daring us to understand why.

It takes a lifetime or it would have no meaning if we understood in an instant. It is those hard things that leave its mark, give a true appreciation, and in doing those hard yards teach us the empathy and compassion from it. All from what we experience in it all.

It is always amazing how it ever seems to corner us…but love knows us and asks us to face it some more until we do understand why we built it…and break free 🤗❤️🙏

That is exactly the point! We need to understand it and the profound things are only understood by experience. The fears and other obstacles only test us. How far do we go to live our vision, to fulfill our dream, to achieve what we see us succeeding in.

As you said, it is love that leads us there and already calls from the other side to guide us through 😊💖
