Erika, very true, but to me there is an important caveat. Sometimes that perfect, but a tad vindictive or destructive, retort is better left unsaid. You will feel better and the target of your anger will feel better. This is especially true if the person is a loved one. Related to this, I found that car rides to school with my kids were better if we just had fun and I wished them well when they exited. Keith

I don’t even see this as a caveat. Actually your example supports the quote. Whatever we do or don’t do has an impact, which way ever. Understanding that not saying anything can, as you said, take aggressive energy out of a situation… or it can build it even up in someone, depending on the situation. So, your example is very well added. Thank you, Keith!

It is amazing how we project exactly as we are Erika, from one moment to the next. So many things to contemplate before that next step. No wonder we grow inner and outer so fast, wisdom on a jet ski…if we watch where we’re going 🤣❤️🙏
