Oh, that reminds me of that wonderful proverb: “Fear knocked at the door, faith answered, and no one was there.” Yes, it can knock at that door and completely catch us off guard. That way we get taught even deeper to look at that visitor from a distant – after a moment of getting our act together again.

I see it the same way. Only through the pressure of fear, I wanted to get past it and learned how much I am actually capable of, that I am entitled to say No (and Yes). Only that way I recognized the possiblities life has to offer. Fear is a teacher, the more it held us in its grip the bigger the liberation once we opened its fist.

Through our fears we can grow the awareness that we need to get rid of it since it only keeps us from living. From there we begin to look at fear from a different perspectiv and reveal the illusion.
