It’s helped me find out so much more about myself

It is so painful and of course, we would like to avoid it, but in hindsight it is a you said!

Sometimes we have to be broken so we can be put back together the right way. Beautiful quote!

Thank you, Jan! I try to see this as the purpose when we break. We have to drop (maybe painfully) what does not belong to us anymore or recreate ourselves.

Yes, and we will experience it better on each occasion. Weeeell, I do have my days though. Just a little nudge occasionally to see if the lights on upstairs 🤗🥰🤣❤️🙏

Ah, yes, those nudges to remind us that there is still more to discover than we thought… lol!

We get the opportunity to examine ourselves and put ourselves back together even stronger. Have a wonderful weekend, Erika 🌞

Right, it is an opportunity to recreate ourselves in a way that fits the present self. Thank you! You have a fantastic weekend too, Sylvester!

We should always be open to recreating ourselves. You’re very welcome and thank you very much!

Erika, the best teacher is failure. The self-reflection of why did I fail to avoid it again. Success can be too euphoric to learn anything new. It reminds me of a rich person who is born on third base and thinks he hit a triple. Keith

That’s a good comparison, Keith. I think success can also be a good teacher when we don’t forget to reflect like we do when we fail. The euphoria you are talking about is the death of success because we jump too high and only then realizing we don’t have wings…

True. Sometimes an ugly or come from behind win can be a good teacher. A coach once said, it is easier to motivate in practice after a loss or an ugly win.
In business, it is good to know why you won or lost, but most organizations do not debrief over a win. They should. I remember us winning a big project although two key members could not be there in person due to family health issues. So, we made life size cut outs of blown up pictures and sat them by the phone when they called in. The client loved it.

Oh, that is awesome and yes, that only makes winning that project really deserved. Wonderful gesture!

Exactly! When the shells drop we see our core, what more potential for growth can there be, right?

Hard to do, but a skill to master, Sis 💛

It is hard to do, and only when we experienced how it renews ourselves can we deal better with it (maybe) at another occasion 💖
